Hi!

edit

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Well, you know I can be annoyed about the edit summaries you are using when tagging ("NONSENSE!", "WARNING!" which is quite hilarious BTW). And someone else already Tagged this article, so there is no need to tag it again. Anyway, Happy Editing!

Sorry, had to tag with nonsense WP:CSD G1 aswell. Wasn't trying to be funny :)

Notability of Jean Adam / bow maker

edit

A tag has been placed on Jean Adam / bow maker requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
I don't think this contetnt is relevant and has no notability sorry. Use {{hangon}} if you think it is! Didz93 (talk) 02:34, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notable Indeed

edit

I have just created the article of this notable 19th century French Master Bow Maker. Please read the full article before you start tagging articles for deletion. We are trying to expand wiki not delete it;) Thanks in advance.Milliot (talk) 02:37, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ok, Googled him with no direct results about him, don't be harsh! But of course, you weren't supposed to delete it yourself because you're the author. Against Policy! :O Didz93 (talk) 02:41, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Music Never Stopped: Roots of the Grateful Dead

edit

I believe that this is a notible album; until it's release most Deadheads had never heard many of THESE versions of these songs. These were the versions that inspired the Grateful Dead to be the Grateful Dead. There is also historical significance to this album because you CAN'T hear some of these versions ANYWHERE else. Since you tagged it I added a review from Etertainment Weekly, a reference, and a statement that it is the only source to hear some of these songs. What else can I do? New deal for page patrollers

edit

Hi Didz93,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
