Speedy deletion nomination of Priyanka Khurana Goyal

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Priyanka Khurana Goyal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Priyanka Khurana Goyal. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Ilma Jaffery

edit

Hello Digijunaid,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ilma Jaffery for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello @Arthistorian1977,
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the article is well sourced and neutral. Idrees is a notable person. A lot of online reliable sources are available, He is successful young sneaker entrepreneur in Canada. The content is not promotional or person specific. Please keep the article. I will update it time to time with verified sources. Digijunaid (talk) 09:18, 12 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Green Africa Youth Organization moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Green Africa Youth Organization, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. @Bonadea,
Hope you are doing well, please don't move Ilma Jaffery profile to Draft. She worked in multiple tv serials. She is notable living personality. The article is written as neutral point of view. Please undo your changes. She worked with multiple broadcast television series, is a claim proved by available sources. Digijunaid (talk) 08:33, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The word "notability" has a special mening on English Wikipedia. For a person to be notable, there must be multiple sources that are not written by people connected to the person – have a look at these guidelines. None of the sources in Draft:Ilma Jaffery is independent. The first two are copies of the same interview, sources 3, 4, and 6 are three publications of the same press release, which appears to be based on that interview, and source 5 is a prmotional text including much of the same verbiage (but very little information). --bonadea contributions talk 12:21, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

The draft has no independent sources, only press releases and an interview with the founder. The notability guideline for companies says that multiple sources that are reliable and independent and secondary are required. A press release is neither independent nor secondary, and an interview is not secondary. In addition, the press release sources had all been added multiple times with different urls (e.g. [1], [2], [3] – a press release is only one source even if it has been published by different newspapers). --bonadea contributions talk 17:34, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, Digijunaid. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. gobonobo + c 03:40, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Digijunaid if you have a connection with Green Africa Youth Organization and Joshua Amponsem, you must disclose it and may not edit those articles directly. Star Mississippi 17:33, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello @Star Mississippi and @Gobonobo,
Thanks guys for acknowledge me. But the real fact is that I have no connection with Green Africa Youth Organization and its Founder Joshua Amponsem. I created the page for Green Africa Youth Organization because I wanted to create a page related to environment and climate NGO. I have done the page with lot of research, After GAYO page creation I found its founder Joshua, is a climate activists and environmentalist (a notable person as per available sources). That's why I created his page also. In future if I have any connection with anyone then I will disclose it. Digijunaid (talk) 10:20, 11 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Okay, but your created articles reads like the to-do list of a PR company. You also added external links to the editing-as-a-service site https://www.topviewcreators.com/services/wikipedia-service at the Writing process and Wiki-PR editing of Wikipedia articles. And I suppose it is just a remarkable coincidence that you share a name with Digi Junaid/Digital Junaid, a "marketing expert with 10+ years of vast experience" who makes videos on YouTube on how to edit Wikipedia. Please know that not disclosing a conflict of interest can result in a block. gobonobo + c 12:48, 11 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Gobonobo: I notice that at timestamp 4:32 of this video on that YouTube channel, the video author is logged into this Digijunaid Wikipedia account. However, at timestamp 1:41 of this other video, the video author is logged into @Blogleads:. Digijunaid, would you care to explain what purpose you have of two different Wikipedia usernames? Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

@Digijunaid I do not believe your answer above, especially when coupled with the information from @Gobonobo, @Geniac provided. You will need to be a little more forthcoming if you wish to file an unblock. Geniac, I have not filed an SPI and so leave that to you if you feel it necessary.
