Hi. The Hebburn article is fine (copyright-wise) as it is now. The problem previously was that there was a large amount of unsourced copyrighted material. You'll notice from the edit history that the conflicting edits have now been removed. Because the material was copyrighted, an administrator has completely deleted it from the Wikipedia servers, making it unrecoverable. This is done for legal reasons. Feel free to re-add some of the information, but please cite your sources where applicable. I believe a lot of the information came from hebburn.org, so if you're planning on using that as a source, please bare in mind that information shouldn't just be copied and pasted from other websites. James - It really comes down to whether or not the South Tyneside Libraries information is in the public domain and/or is copyrighted. If the work is in the public domain, it must be explicitly labelled as not being copyrighted before it is suitable for Wikipedia. The absence of a copyright notice does not mean that a work may be freely used. You might want to check out the Copyright FAQs before deciding whether or not to re-add some of the information. If you are going to use any of the other sources (eg The History of Hebburn 1894-1994) to any great length, you will need to reword the content and list the source(s) in a Reference section.
