Image Copyright problem

Hi Dunaszerdahely!
We thank you for uploading Image:Kep16.jpg, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Eurovision Song Contest 2009

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Eurovision Song Contest 2009. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. I am concerned that you have proceeded to revert edits without an explanation, can we discuss this on the talk page please? I will not revert your edits further but others might well do. Camaron | Chris (talk) 19:27, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Note I have replied on my talk page. Camaron | Chris (talk) 19:43, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Other editors have now effectively reverted your changes, I highly recommend you do not revert them. If you wish to pursue the issue further start a discussion on the talk page. Camaron | Chris (talk) 20:04, 25 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:492 1108 0 COVERFINAL.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:492 1108 0 COVERFINAL.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Q T C 18:42, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:492 1108 0 COVERFINAL.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:492 1108 0 COVERFINAL.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:16, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Artist statements

edit

Hello, Dunaszerdahely. Per this edit, please allow me to remind you that artist statements are not considered reliable sources, as the artist has very little control over the release of their singles and / or albums anymore. Also, an iTunes release does not meet the standard definition of the term "single," when in relation to the artist / album infoboxes. The definition of the term "single" corresponds to records that are serviced to radio with an adds date. Thank you for your contributions, however, and I hope that you contine with your efforts here on Wikipedia! --Winger84 (talk) 14:58, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Hot 100 number-one hits of 2009 (United States)

edit

A tag has been placed on Hot 100 number-one hits of 2009 (United States) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. →Na·gy 22:16, 20 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:AYSEL.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009

edit

Please change back the Infobox on Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 to what it was before as that is the standard infobox for all countries in the ESC by year pages. The page is not just about the selection procedure, but all aspects of the country's participation. Therefore an infobox just about the selection procedure is inappropriate. You are more than welcome to create a page for just the selection procedure if you wish. Thanks. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 17:07, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fine, I fixed it myself, but keep my note in mind. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 19:54, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

OK, thanks for helping :D

It's the wrong infobox as I said above right here. That is the infobox for a national final. That page is about Slovakia's overall participation, not just the national final. All "Country in the Eurovision Song Contest Year" pages must use the same infobox. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 16:14, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
