Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Idol Philippines (season 1), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page James Reid. Marikina's legislative districts

edit

Hey. Idc if that's redundant. But that is the correct form of putting the info of the politicians in the legislative district. You don't care if noob guys reverted it to the previous version. And please, can you stop reverting his edit. His edits are better than yours. Don't be like Princess Faye. You are the best editor unlike her. 49.144.72.74 (talk) 09:05, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok first of all, Wikipedia is made for constant changes; no rules have been set in stone and every format here is made to be in continuous evolution. Not only does the redundancy in the old format produce confusion once there are more than 3 districts; more than seven representatives in a specific non-present era; multiple representatives changing districts, but it also negates the purpose of the articles made for the districts. I have defended the format we created as we believe that it is right based on what we saw at the articles: New York's congressional districts and Parliamentary constituencies in London. EdrianJustine (talk) 17:04, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
look at the legislative district of manila, that one is also redundant but you cant edit that at all. So i undid your work sorry. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 00:59, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
An editor choosing to only edit articles within their city isn't a valid reason to undo their work, specially if there's nothing wrong with it and is in fact more effective compared to other versions. EdrianJustine (talk) 01:08, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
And this is the Republic of the Philippines and not the United states of America. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:06, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
That doesn't mean we can't adopt their objectively better format. EdrianJustine (talk) 01:09, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
No. We need to make it same as my references. Please do not copy anything from US. We are a country. We should reference the Filipino related thing not the United States thing. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:12, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
We literally didn't copy their format. The format used in the article is an amalgamation of the useful characteristics we found in articles addressing the legislative districts of numerous countries around the world. EdrianJustine (talk) 01:15, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
We are from Philippines. We do not live in US so do not copy that NYC format. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:17, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Check their format and check our format. Is it the same? EdrianJustine (talk) 01:19, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
the US format are the same. I checked California's districts and they are the same as New York's. And Marikina is not US. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:22, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
and do not say ur an idiot. I know you can edit better than mine. But you should reference the filipino-related and not the us-related. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:18, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I don't roll that way; it is honestly insulting that you have pegged me for an unprofessional considering the behavior you and your alleged friend have have showed here.
Again, the Filipino-related formats we have came to know have always stemmed from something else. If they can come from that we can allow our formats to evolve in the same fashion. EdrianJustine (talk) 01:22, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
We dont care if the us districts are wrong. But the Marikina should be the same as Manila's. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:20, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Again no rules have been set in stone, we are allowed to improve the articles in whatever way shape or form we see fit. EdrianJustine (talk) 01:23, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
but do not copy the formats of London and US. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:23, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am going to fix that to prevent the fights. Noobsusguy33 (talk) 01:24, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your misconduct on Wikipedia

edit

Hello. I have watched the back-and-forth edits you have made on the article for season 22 of the American version of The Voice. This is just a friendly reminder that WP:EW, WP:DE and Wikipedia:3RR are all established policies that apply in this case, and that, if those policy violations continue, that can result in administrative action being taken. My advice to you in this case would be to take your concerns to the talk page and wait for consensus before again attempting to restore your preferred version of the content. And given your history as a valued contributor here, I hope you'll take that suggestion under advisement. Thanks. Jgstokes (talk) 01:00, 11 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:BB24 Title Card.jpeg

edit

The file File:BB24 Title Card.jpeg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

may be allowed by MOS:TVIMAGE, but inadequately identifies the specific season, despite different background and different graphics and colors for the logo. Also lacks a number to associate with the logo. May likely fail WP:NFCC#8.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 28 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

June 2023

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Yllana Aduana a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Yllana Aduana. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Robert McClenon (talk) 06:27, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I would like to clarify that I was not the one who published the page, but rather Georgzy. I have not seen the draft article for a while at the time of my first edits on that article and I have just started to work on the page once I detected that a page for Aduana had been published. I would also like to add that those said edits were copy and pasted to the draft by Ayamano2021, after they attempted to reduce the article to a redirect to the said draft, and I think that this concern should be directed to them.
Regardless, I appreciate your concerns and I will take note of this on future endeavors. Thank you. EdrianJustine (talk) 07:16, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
To prove my claim, here is my edit at 27 June 2023, 3:10 PhST, on Aduana's article, and here was the copy-paste edits by Ayamano2021 on 27 June 2023, 6:35 PhST, more than three hours later. And if I may add, if we actually look at the initial publication by Georgzy, on 27 June 2023, 00:06 PhST, it bears no semblance to any of the revisions on Ayamano2021's draft. EdrianJustine (talk) 07:26, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Pauline Amelinckx, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. If you want to remove images, state your reason. You were deleting images without due reason, only marking your edits as "cleaning up; adding content" which isn't admissible for removing images. Migsmigss (talk) 11:29, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Is there a logical reason for this warning? I absolutely done no wrong in that article, in fact, it may had even been improved with the restructuring done. Seeing at the block policy, there is absolutely no reason to have me justifiably blocked for my work, in fact, blocking me may even fall under WP:BLOCKNOTPUNITIVE.
I did not delete any images, I just left them out of the article as they served no non-aesthetic purpose, and are still available on Wikimedia Commons. Cleanup is a due reason, as the article has been overloaded with images that serve no reason outside those already served by the infobox image. EdrianJustine (talk) 12:02, 30 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

The text in the title card is readible, so your reasoning of replacing with your version is unnecessary. So please stop edit warring about uploading a certain file.TheHotwiki (talk) 10:37, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

its barely readable, and the previous revision not only presented the text better, but also it is the iteration of the title card used most in the media, making it a better representation of the show's title card in every single facet. if anything, you're the one holding up a widely accepted change considering how the article previously presented an iteration of the title card similar to that of "my" version until you replaced it without notice. EdrianJustine (talk) 10:45, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Its readable and second, the file you reverted doesn't even comply with Wikipedia:File size. Let it go.TheHotwiki (talk) 10:47, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Reyster Yton

edit

Hello EdrianJustine, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Reyster Yton, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Reyster Yton.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|North8000}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Editwarring, February 2024

edit

Your recent editing history at Miss Universe Philippines 2024 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

These edits you made on 25 February constitute edit warring: [1][2][3]. ☆ Bri (talk) 23:33, 29 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

And (single album) moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to And (single album). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because With est. 2 months to release, it's WP:TOOSOON for mainspace.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 14:08, 19 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Miss Universe Philippines, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please stop adding bold to articles per MOS:BOLD Sciencefish (talk) 08:21, 24 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

August 2024

edit

Hi EdrianJustine! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂[𝚃𝙰𝙻𝙺] 15:56, 19 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
