Recent edit reversion

edit

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 15:20, 5 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Salvage Corps, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AEC. Based off of your edits, you may be interested in joining WikiProject Firefighting, which was created recently after WikiProject Fire Services and WikiProject Fire Protection combined. Adding yourself to the participants list shows you are interested or willing to help improve the coverage of firefighting and it's related topics on Wikipedia, but there is no obligation. For more information, feel free to contact me or ask a question on the project's talk page. Happy editing 🙂 Johnson524 05:22, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good Morning/Afternoon Johnson,
I have put my name down for this project. I would love to see it grow! Honestly I cannot think that other people are interested with it in other countries.
Personally we should add pages that were kick-started by members into a list to show how much we contribute to amazing pieces of history (Although it may not be yet in some areas)!
Many thanks for telling me about this,
FireBrigadeFanaticNO1 FireBrigadeFanaticNO1 (talk) 22:52, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you very much for joining 🙂 If you can think of a way to further improve the project page, I invite you to BE BOLD! This is the first time I've ever created a WikiProject, so any suggestions on how to make it better/more appealing are much appreciated. Wishing you the best from North Carolina, and thank you again for your interest and contributions to firefighting on Wikipedia. Johnson524 00:02, 25 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Southport Fire Brigade moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Southport Fire Brigade. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 16:31, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Good Morning/Afternoon Sir/Madam,
Many thanks for your suggestions, I have added some sources but Wikipedia should not be one man making an article. There is some information which some may not know about whilst others will. And for that I would like to have Southport Fire Brigade at least released to let others edit in information which is hard to find or they may only know! And unfortunately also, many pieces of history are always physical. Meaning it will get to a point which 'Word-Of-Mouth' may have to be used. And its unfortunate it can't be stopped in some situations.
Many thanks,

Good Morning (at least for me haha) ma'am,
I should have put it as a draft, my apologies. I was half asleep when i published it and just needed sleep so didn't really think. I'll be working on it more and gathering more information about it.
I've had to wait for a reply also about draft:Southport Fire Brigade as im slightly confused about what it means by the sources part? Maybe you could help me and give some pointers about if it's ready for publishing?

Hi FireBrigadeFanaticNO1! I think you intended to create the page as a draft per Special:Permalink/1199819451. Try to submit your first few articles through AFC as they'd give some good feedback until you get the hang of writing new articles.
Also note that there was a discussion in 2016 for the subject you are writing about to be deleted. Please review the notability guidelines and makes sure that the subject meets them Justiyaya 03:38, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
also WP:Article Wizard makes you a draft :D Justiyaya 03:41, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good Morning/Afternoon Sir/Madam
I did intend for it to be a draft. I had noticed that later on doing draft:Helmets Limited that it was still around, although under a different name. So, yes the article was made on the 28th of Jan (For me at least), sources were found originally for Helmets Limited;
It was a mistake I did publishing it. Thanks for making it one.
Although how could i go about finding the deleted page for Helmet Integrated Systems Limited? Do I request it etc?
Many Thanks, FireBrigadeFanaticNO1 (talk) 12:10, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia:Requests for undeletion would be the place to go. Please consider the notability guidelines and make sure the subject meets it. Justiyaya 12:23, 28 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
