Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Jamie Dornan. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. General Ization Talk 13:55, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Also, "he sang in his band and later in several films" does not make Dornan notable as a singer. The lead should contain only the professions and/or accomplishments for which he is notable. Singing isn't one of them. General Ization Talk 13:57, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Lyrics

edit

Sorry but I removed the reference again, they are hosting lyrics without permission from the copyright holders even their copyright notice indicates as such. I'm sure you can find a source that links him to that song that doesn't involve a lyric site. Generally speaking for lyrics we only accept an artist's own site, their record label or Metro Lyrics who pay the artists for the permissions and access. See WP:COPYLINK. I'm not trying to pick on you, just keep our strict copyright rules. All you're looking for is a reliable source that says he sung/wrote that song, that must exists somewhere even in a magazine I'm sure. Canterbury Tail talk 11:57, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'll try my best to look for the facts further. Thank you for your concern. Fitzwilliams (talk) 13:01, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kevin Maher (writer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Irish. Thanks a lot for this

Seeing that you created an article just or solely for Dornan's performances it stands to reason that "one review may not be enough"

edit

I am willing to explain the theory as it were in the above title. Justanother2 (talk) 09:03, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

But the article has been created. Why would there be any debate about that? Plus there are hundreds such articles on Wikipedia. Fitzwilliams (talk) 02:52, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

The article is fine, even necessary. Not talking about the article but one of the edits you made. Justanother2 (talk) 10:51, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Which one? Fitzwilliams (talk) 04:26, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

We don't seem to agree on some things. Maybe it's your style being complex and all. Also you could give people time or even a few days to reply and you said something about being a newcomer. Realize there are many types of editors on here and in the same way you are not typical supposedly other people aren't like you.Justanother2 (talk) 13:27, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am trying to cooperate with you and you are being offesive. Even I reached out for you in your talk page to solve what issues you have with that article. Now will you kindly reply on your own talk page where I have created a new discussion? Please? Fitzwilliams (talk) 17:39, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to discuss something I'll choose to talk on this pg. Which articles are you editing besides Dornan?Justanother2 (talk) 19:05, 23 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Currently I am working on Anjuna Ellis' award article. Fitzwilliams (talk) 02:55, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Also working on Colin Morgan Fitzwilliams (talk) 02:57, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Randomly picked Morgan from the two. I don't know what high quality journalism you read; if you want suggestions for literature I'll provide them. I made some changes to the article. One, redundancy is almost never a good idea. Two, there were two extra spaces on the entire page.Justanother2 (talk) 12:27, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Let me inform you first, by 'working on Morgan's article' I meant I am adding unwritten awards there. Now let me give you suggestion, do remember to check the page history before accusing someone. I probably edited his article for the first time, one day ago. So the redundancy, unnecessary spaces aren't done by me. Also you were supposed to talk about issues on Dornan's performance article. What happened to your that concern? Fitzwilliams (talk) 13:00, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I don't have more to say to you, bye.Justanother2 (talk) 13:22, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at The Last of Us (TV series) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Alex_21 TALK 11:24, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
