You dont have to do anything special to join an antivandalism force! Just start reverting vandalism! When you post on somebodys talk page dont forget to sign your name with the 4 tildes ~~~~. Good luck fightning vandalism, if you have any questions on vandalism or what is the best thing to do, feel free to ask! You can add this to the bottom of your user page [[Category:Counter-Vandalism Unit members]] and you can start adding user boxes to your page.

This has nothing to do with oranges. Go to this link and click, edit page. It is my userbox organizer. I reccoment creating it as a subpage of your own pages. User:GDk411/userbox might be a good start. It will tell you that the page dsent exist and find the option to start the page. The, get the outline from this page userboxtable. click edit the page and copy the material. Then put it on your new userbox page. After you get your userbox page looking like you like it. Add this to the top line of your real user page. {{User:GDk411/userbox}}. Save the page and look at the results! You can add as many items to the userbox list. If you have any more questions, let me know! Chris Kreider01:30, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Are you trying to get your userboxes to go into the table, like on my user page? If so, I can do it for you so it shows up on your main page! If not, you can probably figure it out. Just figured I would offer to help, Chris Kreider02:12, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
I can set it up on your page, I just want to make sure you are ok with that before I go edit your page. Either way, let me know on my talk page. Chris Kreider02:19, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I set it up! When you use the {{ }} it takes a copy of whatever is within the brackets when the page is loaded and puts it on whatever page you are on at the time. In the example of your user page, the userboxes are put there every time you load the page even thugh you edit them at your userbox link! If you need help adding new userboxes to the table, let me know. Chris Kreider14:13, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Didn't mean to tread on anyone's toes, but I went ahead and nominated Mr CK for adminship. Maybe you would like to co-nominate, Gdk? Bubbahotep22:50, 28 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I was curious as it seemed inconsistent with your history. Unfortunately, we've had people decide to go out with a bang before so it's hard to distinguish that from a phishing case. A single occurrence will not black ball you. Explain it and don't try to hide it and I doubt you will get much grief. Some will probably question your judgment, but most will chalk it up to a learning experience that caused no real harm. -- JLaTondre20:27, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

This little star is for you...
...for giving me a reason to smile when I was blue, dear Gdk, you've just earned yourself a new friend. Thank you, from the depths of my heart! Love, Phaedriel - 15:06, 5 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have fixed it. You had __NOEDITSECTION__ in User:Gdk411/Navbar. Having that in there causes pages that transclude that template to not have section edit links. FYI, for future reference, you may want to ask for help at WP:VPT or somewhere like that ... Jimbo's talk page isn't the place to go for general editing help. ;) --BigDT03:17, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!
P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H.I did "That's hot" first!09:18, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Rome High School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Phgao00:24, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

My pleasure to help out. :) Nice user page! Adoption is a way that new users can get tips from more experienced users about working in the Wikipedia environment. It gives the new user somebody specific they can go to when they want to ask for help with a problem. It's a nice little program to help build a sense of community. And it's valuable, in my opinion, because with the sprawl of policies and guidelines, it can be very helpful to have individual assistance navigating. :) People who are willing to adopt can list themselves here along with a description of their basic areas of interest. That helps make sure there's a good match. It's a nice program, I think. :) --Moonriddengirl01:53, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hey. In case you don't come back to my talk page, since I responded here, I thought I'd duplicate these other notes left by Dreadstar. :) --Moonriddengirl11:55, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
It is fine that you want to improve it, and I too would like to see more sourced and referenced articles. A few tips; if you can get some alumni that are famous/notable (ie have news converage) then the article can stay; normally interviews with school members do not count as verified sources and as such the article would need outside news coverage/articles to justify why it is notable. Furthermore, Wikipedia has a well, not very black and white policy with schools; and schools that demonstrate no notability are normally deleted. Phgao16:26, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Also, I'd advise you to copy the article into your User namespace, so you can write it up there, then submit the finished product. Phgao16:27, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've added a few references and voted keep in the AfD. If you need help finding or formatting sources, let me know, I'm glad to help! Dreadstar†18:31, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
