User talk:I dream of horses/2018/August
The article Stefan Schaal has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marcocapelle (talk • contribs) 04:08, August 6, 2018 (UTC)
- @Marcocapelle: Looks like David Eppstein de-PRODDED the article. I agree with them; IEEE fellows are presumed notable.
- Of course, there's nothing stopping you from nominating the article for an articles for deletion discussion, but I doubt it'll result in the article getting deleted. -- I dream of horses (My talk page) (My edits) @ 01:02, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
- I agree that Schaal passes WP:PROF (and that our article on him needs cleanup) but the reason I de-prodded it wasn't for notability, it was that prods can only be used once per article and a prod was already used on this one, in October 2012. You have to look at the deleted page history to see it. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:15, 7 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Marcocapelle and David Eppstein: As a non-admin, I've made similar mistakes myself (acting without information about deleted page history). I'm quite sympathetic. I dream of horses (My talk page) (My edits) @ 20:05, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

A message from Emunahlaya
editHi, I dream of horses(I dream of horses) Thank you for contacting me to let me know you have removed my suggested article/page. I am trying to have a wikipedia page made for Myles Mancuso as he is a notable musician. I chose not to create a page myself but to leave information where you found it because it was to my understanding that the information that is posted there is checked for accuracy and validity for having a page created for it, which the content is valid, though I understand it is written subjectively. I was under the impression that someone who is no bias would take the information I gave, along with the links I added for more information and creditability, and would then recreate it in an objective manner. Would you be able to do this for me or at least give me some more advice as how to more easily get this page created... as I have seen much newer and less known artists with their own pages (which I think is wonderful). Thank you again for your time, energy, and help!
All the best - Emunahlaya Emunahlaya (talk) 22:56, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Emunahlaya: It was mostly the subjective wording I was responding to.
- If you don't mind waiting a long time (which, hey, some people don't), simply leave sourced information in the area you originally edited. Someone will eventually get around to fleshing the article out themselves. If you want to wait not-quite-as-long and don't mind writing the article yourself, I'd recommend writing a draft. -- I dream of horses (My talk page) (My edits) @ 06:52, 11 August 2018 (UTC)

Awok website is a scam
editThis information must be posted in Wikipedia, but Wikipedia keeps deleting the edits and threatening to block my account. Awok.com is a fake website and it has been proven. Just search on Twitter, Facebook, Trustpilot, Complaintsboard or any website in Google. Just type “Awok is a scam” you will find several hundreds of bad experiences. These complaints and issues must honestly be reflected in Wikipedia. When people want to make decisions about purchasing from this website they will check Wikipedia. If they found the information showed they will think it is a trusted website.

- @ISimzZz: So add a reliable source saying so. I dream of horses (My talk page) (My edits) @ 01:37, 22 August 2018 (UTC)
- @I dream of horses: I have added citations to famous web sources that show different honest users experience. It is an online retailing business and user experience is the best judge of the credibility of the business. I can add up to 20 or more links for user reviews and also links from different web sources that evaluate and score online retaling businesses. The reputation of this business is something obvious and above the surface it should be clearly revealed with any honest and credible information about it. iSimzZz
Dear I dream of horses,
I've added lot of information on the wikipedia page of a French city called Mauvages which was nearly empty before and your reverted the change as you were concerned no source was listed. Mauvages is a small 300+ village in France where I am a resident and because of the size of the French village there is no online content in English to refer to. If you speak French, I can invite to look at the French version of the Wikpedia page where you'll see sources in French and the more complete page for that city.
I would thank you for your understanding and would be grateful if my work to translate the page into English would not be reverted again. Thank you for your understanding :)

- @Kevinouss: If needed, you can add non-English sources to a page along with the information you add (inline citations are preferred, but any method is okay). English sources are preferred, but non-English sources are much, much better than nothing by far. -- I dream of horses (My talk page) (My edits) @ 20:05, 21 August 2018 (UTC) (Fixed internal link at 01:38, 22 August 2018 (UTC))

edit1.9.147.227 (talk) 01:58, 29 August 2018 (UTC) Hi, I edited https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Causeway_Link before based on their company profile and remove those unnecessary information to made it more neutral. Meantime, the source is stated clearly, and the services is from them. Not so sure what do you mean for company profile need to be neutral content.
Because they are company profile, i believe the most accurate information is from their website. Please assist. Thank you.
