Please don't take offense because your user page got nominated for deletion. I made this same mistake when I was first starting out as well. Your user page belongs to Wikipedia and is meant to document your activities on Wikipedia and provide limited information about you. We don't allow user pages that contain primarily of off-topic material; you may want to consider creating your own social media profile and linking it from Wikipedia. It is not to say, though, you are allowed to customize your own user page to some degree so long as it is still readable and so long as the page says something about you as a Wikipedian. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) are for discussion related to improving (a) an encyclopedia article in specific ways based on reliable sources or (b) project policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. If you are looking for a means to socialize with other people on the site, then on wiki is not the way to do it. You can join the Wikipedia discord if you would like to have general discussion (including off topic discussion) with other editors, but note that as a community we are not designed for chatting but for improving articles.
