editDeaths from hypertension
editHello, I'm sure that category is fine. Hopefully you can find more people to add to it! Searching Wikipedia for "died from hypertension" brings up several results. Adam Bishop (talk) 21:19, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

editClosely-related questions asked by the same person should be grouped together. If you ask many similar questions and don't group them together, some people would consider it annoying... AnonMoos (talk) 22:49, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
List of books about Wikipedia
editI commend to you the List of books about Wikipedia, and especially Wikipedia – The Missing Manual, which is right here on Wikipedia for reference and updating as Help: Wikipedia: The Missing Manual. I bought the paper edition shortly after starting to contribute here, and found it very helpful in getting past some of the technical issues. Your first article was a fine one. Please consult me if you have any questions. --DThomsen8 (talk) 16:13, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Talk page suggestion
editPlease read the blue box at the top of my talk page, and consider taking it for your talk page. Discussions are easier to follow if they are on one page. When I added the welcome and the suggestion about Wikipedia books, I also put your talk page on my Watchlist. If you answered me here, or answer this entry here, I will know that from my Watchlist and come back to read what you say, and maybe answer. You will also see on my talk page, and the talk pages of other experienced Wikipedia editors, a continuing discussion on some subject, going on at considerable length. The colon is used to indent each remark, further and further to the right, and then the template {{Outdent}} is used to bring the discussion back to the left margin.
I did a copy and paste from another editor to put that blue box on my talk page. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." Go ahead if you like it. --DThomsen8 (talk) 17:50, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Block
editIowafromiowa (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Hi, I don't deny to have created account "Timothyhere", but I'm not using it anymore and I've chosen this one to contribute on Wikipedia. I've contributed a lot since I created this account. Hope you understand my explanation. Thank you. Iowafromiowa (talk) 13:37, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Well, you're not using Timothyhere not because you chose so, it's because that account is permablocked. This account was created after Timothyhere was blocked, hence it's a block evasion. If you wish to edit Wikipedia, feel free to request an unblock from your original account, however just creating another account is not acceptable. Max Semenik (talk) 15:13, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hmm, this is very different from the usual unblock requests of people blocked for socking. If you have created any other accounts, please disclose them. That's all I have to ask. Daniel Case (talk) 14:31, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Request reason:
Please, it's true that I created the account Timothyhere, but it's because I suffer from an obsessive-compulsive disorder which made me create three accounts within minutes. I then repented and kept this account. Please, please again, review this and let me contribute to Wikipedia like I've been doing lately. It's horrible to suffer from OCD. Please. Thank you. Iowafromiowa (talk) 20:59, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:12, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

- Two things; firstly, what is the name of the third account which you have admitted creating? Secondly, if your OCD has made you create these accounts, how are you able to guarantee that it will not happen again?--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:16, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
