Y-chromosome

edit

Hi, I'm reading the wikipedia article on the Y-chromosome and I see a piece that's unclear. I saw you edited this article a few weeks ago so that's why I'm contacting you. Maybe you can fix it? I'm not able to edit it. This is the piece:

instead the daughters that are phenotypically normal and do not have affected offspring

What's the end of this sentence? ...are not carriers?

Thanks. Sandra Sandypasco76 (talk) 16:54, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve Data Blanket

edit

Hello, SwissAmish,

Thank you for creating Data Blanket.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The opening sentence has three references, but the rest of the article uses just one. Most of the body content paragraphs have no citations at all to enable verification. References should also be clearly independent of the subject - ie: not sourced from the company or its press releases, etc.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Paul W}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Photo requests in Chicago

edit

Hello! Thank you for giving the thanks!

Anyhow, are there some people in the Chicago area interested in doing photo requests in Chicago? (Humboldt Park, Chinatown, and O'Hare are among the neighborhoods in which I have photo requests for) WhisperToMe (talk) 06:23, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hey there - No problem!
Sure, why not. Was there anything specific you were wanting for Humboldt? SwissAmish (talk) 14:45, 21 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguating Humboldt Park community area from Humboldt Park neighborhood?

edit

I found the Puerto Rico flag arch and museum are in West Town, Chicago community area (which seems to have the "Humboldt Park" neighborhood with the Puerto Rican community) while Humboldt Park, Chicago community area (the place with Our Lady of the Angels Catholic School) seems to be completely different. I am interested in having a discussion with the WikiProject on moving around content... WhisperToMe (talk) 05:25, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Are you referring to these? - Paseo Boricua, National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture
Because both are in Humboldt Park, which is the neighborhood at the center of Puerto Rican culture in Chicago.
I am not sure about West Town for that matter. SwissAmish (talk) 12:07, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
This should help shed some more light on it - Located right on the edge of the two neighborhoods Humboldt Park, Chicago#East Humboldt Park/West Town SwissAmish (talk) 12:12, 23 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
The West Town community map is here http://www.cityofchicago.org/content/dam/city/depts/doit/general/GIS/Chicago_Maps/Community_Areas/CA_WEST_TOWN.pdf
The Humboldt Park community map is here http://www.cityofchicago.org/content/dam/city/depts/doit/general/GIS/Chicago_Maps/Community_Areas/CA_HUMBOLDT_PARK.pdf
The Park Humboldt Park and points east are in West Town community area, not Humboldt Park community area.
One could have two separate articles, one for the community area and one for the neighborhood
