IDinsight

edit

Hello, thanks for joining Wikipedia! I notice that all your edits are on the topics of IDinsight, and I wonder if you have some connection, or "conflict of interest" with them, such as that you are an employee or contractor or being paid for editing Wikipedia to market them.

This isn't necessarily a problem, but if this is so, you must immediately file a disclosure statement explaining any conflict of interest to ensure transparency. Here's an example of what a disclosure looks like - but let me know if you have any kind of questions about this, privately by email is fine if you’re having problems. You should also ensure that all your edits are factual and cannot be considered in any way promotional, and are backed up by citations to reliable sources demonstrating them to be true. An automated message explaining this is added below. Hope this is OK, let me know if you have any thoughts or questions. Blythwood (talk) 17:45, 4 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, Jessiepw901. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.

Hi Blythwood - thank you for the information. I am new to Wikipedia, and am sorry for incorrectly identifying myself and also for creating the page incorrectly. I have added a COI to my personal talk page, and have done more research (which I should have done at the beginning, I realize that) and I will submit an article request for the page to be created by an independent editor. I will be sure to include my COI in the article request. Do you think that is the best course of action? Also, would be happy to email you privately but couldn't find your email. Thanks again!   Hello, Jessiepw901, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Patnapartner (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who use multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 16:52, 5 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

IDinsight

I've restored the article you created to User:Jessiepw901/IDinsight so you can work on it to bring it up to an acceptable standard. It does need major work to address the issues which were identified by the deletion request. I strongly recommend that when you feel you have improved it enough you submit it to the articles for creation process for consideration. Don't just put the article back in a similar form, if you do that it will be deleted again and you may not get another chance to work on it. Hut 8.5 21:43, 11 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your help! I have begun to make the changes, and will submit it to Articles for Creation process when it is ready. Jessiepw901 (talk) 10:47, 12 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
