I am deleting the above message because your message to me shows you were trying to make a good faith edit. Please do use edit summaries, especially when removing material, in order for questions not to be raised. If editors see a portion of text that has citations removed without explanation, they will usually revert it and move on to another edit. If an edit may require a longer explanation, put it on the article's talk page and after a brief comment, write something like see talk page for more. See Help:Using talk pages and Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Usually a bracket error simply means that the opening and/or closing brackets are missing or are the wrong characters or combination of errors. The main page of the Wikipedia:Manual of Style has much information, and links, about formatting and mark-up, including brackets, as well as links to more specific pages.

I will more closely examine your intended edit later to see if I can say something more specific about it. Sometimes, removal of content is done to add a competing viewpoint as the main or only viewpoint. If both have some validity and reliable, verifiable, neutral references, both should be included and the reader can decide which one to accept. Fringe theories should be avoided or given very brief and neutral mention, identifying them as fringe or at least minority views. The keys are neutral language and citations to reliable, verifiable, neutral sources if additions are competing theories, or appear questionable or likely to be challenged. The bottom line as I see it is that you have added content without removing anything. In fact, it seems that you intended to do that all along. I now see that I may have misread the sequence of your edits. On the other hand, your recent addition in fact makes the final product look complete. Perhaps my edit actually removed good text. I say perhaps because I am having trouble following the trail, maybe I am just tired at this point. In any event, I hope you keep making constructive edits to Wikipedia and will not be discouraged by my intrusion. Donner60 (talk) 06:10, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
