Confilct of Intrest

Hello, Jokked. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Tech Link Corporation, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 00:32, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

"inappropriate links"

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (film). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Andy Dingley (talk) 18:39, 16 November 2017 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:East of England Ambulance Service Logo.png

Thanks for uploading File:East of England Ambulance Service Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:24, 17 May 2018 (UTC)

Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:Myers Briggs Type Indicator, INTP.png

Thanks for uploading File:Myers Briggs Type Indicator, INTP.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 03:46, 14 October 2018 (UTC)

B-bot, The image in question is owned by myself and I own the copyrights to the graphic. I, however, do not wish to grant a creative commons licence onto the image for other to be able to use it. it is used on one page only (My user page) as I use it on all my accounts as my "online brand". --Jordan8396.ja (talk) 23:48, 15 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:03, 16 October 2018 (UTC)

File:Jordie8396Graphic.png as non-free content

Hi Jordan8396.ja. If you created this logo and don't want to release it under a free license, then that's perfectly OK. However, non-free content can only be used in the article namespace per Wikipedia's non-free content use policy #9, which means (as explained in WP:UP#Non-free files) that the file cannot be used on your userpage. So, unless you (or another editor) can find another use for the file which satisfies Wikipedia non-free content use policy, it is going to be deleted per as "orphaned non-free use" per WP:F5. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:51, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

It's fine, I'm goining to self-recommend it for speedy deletion as ive decided that, although it looks better with it, my userpage can do without. Plus saves hassle. --Jordan8396.ja (talk) 05:34, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Jordie8396Graphic.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Jordie8396Graphic.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:52, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

If you do find an acceptable non-free use for this file, then you're also going to need to provide a non-free use rationale per Wikipedia non-free content use policy criterion #10c. A separate specific rationale is needed for each use. You should also provide a source for the file so that it can be verified as being published and as being copyrighted. The easiest way to do this is to simply and a url for an official website where the file can been seen. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:55, 17 October 2018 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Police Interceptors, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Durham (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
