Jan Košek (football) moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Jan Košek (football), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. editThank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into Jan Košek (football). While you are welcome to re-use the content of Wikipedia, here or elsewhere, our licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please either provide attribution in this case, or identify the source article so that someone else can do it. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Please be aware that editors who repeatedly copy content without attribution risk being blocked from editing. Thank you. --John B123 (talk) 14:54, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

editThank you for contributing to the article Jan Košek. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Speedy deletion nomination of Ted Norris
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ted Norris requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.sloughtownfc.net/profile/1668/Ted-Norris. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. - The reason why I edited this, is because that is the incorrect spelling of the word honours. This is the ENGLISH Wikipedia page of Houston Dash, so every spelling should be in ENGLISH and not American English, as your perception of the English language is utter nonsense as you remove letters to make words easier to spell, as you're highly illiterate. Sexy Beast (talk) 16:22, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- @Kaizako10 Please review MOS:ENGVAR it clearly states that under strong national ties to the topic, which Houston Dash has as an American team, that you should use American version of words. Houston Dash not affiliated with British football at all, which is why it is called soccer. You might want to review WP:SPELLING for a reference of how words are spelled differently in the English language. But thanks for not understanding the basics of the English language and all of it utter nonsense. Demt1298 (talk) 19:55, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Houston Dash. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Demt1298 (talk) 19:56, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
