Speedy deletion nomination of Optimized Searching

edit

A tag has been placed on Optimized Searching requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -petiatil »user»speak 09:15, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Optimized Searching

edit

A tag has been placed on Optimized Searching requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but in this recent edit you removed a speedy deletion tag from Optimized Searching, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page Thank you. Anna Lincoln 11:27, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Kam Optimized searching

edit

The article Kam Optimized searching has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Low content page on SEO

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. MrOllie (talk) 16:34, 23 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 13:42, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Status and Advice

edit

Please read carefully how to obtain permission. But even if you obtain it properly, the article needs to show notability with references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online (but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases). As the term is a general one, then it should be based material from other than this single company which has chosen to call itself by one of the variants of the phrase, and you should first check related articles to see the extent to which it is already covered . Search engine optimization

This is a featured article. I'm WP:AGF that you had a valid reason, but this is the sort of removal/reversion that needs a lot of discussion. Please discuss on talk page before you do that again. Dlohcierekim 04:19, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Now I get it-- you created an article that got redirected to this. I think the subject is pretty well covered. I fail to see your "need to get this published." Cheers, Dlohcierekim 04:27, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Optimized Searching

edit

I have nominated Optimized Searching, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Optimized Searching. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Blue Rasberry 04:32, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Optimized Searching. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Blue Rasberry 04:46, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your user name and your edit pattern

edit

Hi Kamtech, I am concerned about your editing pattern as witnessed by the many notices above. I have thus brought this issue to a panel called AIV (Administrator intervention against vandalism) here. Please see also the notice below. Regards, Pgallert (talk) 09:51, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. You may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Pgallert (talk) 09:51, 29 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used for spamming or advertising, for repeatedly recreating deleted material in violation of copyright, and because you appear to be intimately related to the subject of some of the edits you have made. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
