Minor fixes

Hi KidAd, thanks for the hard work you've done to add stubs on Maine state legislators. If you continue to write these articles (and I hope you will!), I encourage you to include Category:Year of birth missing (living people) and {{Maine House of Representatives}} in the article. Take a look at any of the recently started articles for examples. Thanks and happy editing.--User:Namiba 13:48, 10 March 2022 (UTC)

Namiba. Thanks for the reminder. I will add make sure to add those missing pieces next time. Thanks again, KidAdSPEAK 23:10, 10 March 2022 (UTC)

Important Notice

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Recent Contributions

Hello KidAd, I just wanted to respond to the recent message you sent me regarding my recent contributions. I am not sure I understand your objections that lead you to revert all of my work. I am working with a group of students to update all the Utah Legislatures information and make sure their constituents are able to see what is most recently been accomplished. What I had done was a first round of edits, I intend to go back and add more. I think that the contributions are helpful and relevant, and current. I am open to suggestions to improve it. Please refrain from reverting all information as this is a work in progress for multiple people that takes much time and organization. Thank you --Utahstudent12 (talk) 19:35, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi Utahstudent12, you may like to have a look at Wikipedia:Student assignments. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:48, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
Utahstudent12, your explanation has provided some much-needed clarity. Thank you. I would recommend, however, that you and your group become familiar with Wikipedia policies, including WP:NOT, WP:PROMO, and WP:COI, before continuing your project. Your rapid-fire edits introduced many errors into pages. For example, introducing mailing addresses and P.O. boxes is not useful or productive. Each member of the Utah Legislature has their own official page where that information can be found. Copy-and-pasting it into Wikipedia is unproductive and not what this website is for. Additionally, I suggest you review our manual of style before making new edits. Your contributions introduced many style errors including bare urls and very annoying capitalization choices (eg. Legislative Information, Contact Information, Current Legislation, etc.). KidAdSPEAK 20:11, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Civility

Hello. This is a message to let you know that you have made an edit summary to Martin Heinrich ‎ that did not appear to be appropriate, civil, or otherwise constructive, and it may have been removed. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:46, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

Mikeblas Which edit summary are you referring to specifically? KidAdSPEAK 15:15, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
Here are a few: #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5. -- Mikeblas (talk) 21:11, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
Not seeing civility issues here. Also not sure where you fit in to any of these issues. Are you just hanging around to keep me in check or something? KidAdSPEAK 21:15, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
I don't need to be involved to leave a warning. Please see Wikipedia:Civility warnings and Wikipedia:Civility. In the future, I hope you'll reconsider before telling other editors to "go away" or suggesting that they're "clueless". -- Mikeblas (talk) 02:54, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
