Please stop making John Varty out as a fraudster !
editSome of his work on the Tiger Canyons project may have been misleading. But things are not as bad as you say. Otherwise Fox News would have mentioned it.
And regardless of that, you cannot remove unrelated biographical material. Like the conversion of Londolozi into a game reserve and Running Wild ! -- Nic Roets (talk) 19:32, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
Your sentence on Bengal Tigers does not make sense
editJohn Varty will not and cannot release his tigers into the South African wilderness. South Africa does not have any wilderness left. Every part of the country is divided up into farm land, urban areas and nature reserves. All nature reserves have well defined boarders with wardens patrolling.
If John releases his tigers, they will be shot, if they do not die of hunger. There is not enough wildlife in the Karoo to sustain them. -- Nic Roets (talk) 19:09, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bengal Tiger. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.
I'm trying to clear this article from irrelevant information. If you have information regarding John Varty's project that is supported by credible sources, add it to his page (not Bengal Tiger). Additionally, the collaboration between John Varty and SCT was discussed on national television and belongs in the article.

Request reason:
User NRoets have been constantly editing and undoing valid information, and subsections with good references in some pages, especially those related to Tigers such as the Bengal Tiger Page and Save China's Tigers page. He removed many important information, and replaced them with little sentences of his own, without any references. When i undo the damage which he makes, he started an editing war and reverts the edit. This is a problem and that's why i undid his revision. Please check those articles and you can see that he is bias and that he is removing valid information, and causing harm to wikipedia. I am just doing my part as an editor, i am not trying to add things, just trying to make the page as consistent as possible, reverting it back to its usual self. Why am i blocked instead of him? Just because he is an older user? I understand that it is wrong to have an edit war, but i just really wanted to revert the page to its original state. Why am i wrong? May i ask? Fastily.
Decline reason:
Edit warring is not permitted. Furthermore, your unblock request does not adequately address your behavior, but rather, talks about the behavior of others. If you wish to be unblocked, you must show that you understand why you were blocked and demonstrate that you won't engage in the same edits that led to your block. TNXMan 16:26, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

editThis is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Fayerman (talk) 08:53, 18 September 2011 (UTC)
Thank you Fayerman, I understand your warning, but i don't really comprehend why what i did was a vandalism. I thought that Donnie Yen is one of the more famous BJJ practitioners in Asia, since he uses BJJ in movies, hence i add his name to the names of "Notable practitioners". No ill intentions at all. Why is that vandalism? Could you just remove my edit next time and explain to me without being so harsh? Because i don't know what the reason is. LesnarMMA (talk) 12:44, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- More than happy to explain. Donnie Yen is not notable for BJJ. Adding his name to the names of famous BJJ practitioners sounded like a crude joke. Yen did not contribute to the development of BJJ, he did not win any BJJ major titles (e.g. World Jiu-Jitsu Championship). According to the Wikipedia article, he is a purple belt, which effectively puts him among beginners of BJJ. Perhaps you thought that because Yen is famous due to other reasons (i.e. famous actor, famous choreographer, etc.) his inclusion to the list of BJJ practitioners was justified. Now, vandalism is any addition, removal, or change of content in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia. Examples of typical vandalism are adding irrelevant obscenities and crude humor to a page and inserting patent nonsense into a page. The reason I gave you the single warning was because I saw the history of blocks on your account. Generally, a warning should escalate from a previous warning. Hope that helps to explain my position. Please continue contributing to Wikipedia. --Fayerman (talk) 15:34, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
