OK, opening the discussion here - there is nothing in the article that can't be merged into the Waldorf Education article. Additionally, much of what is said here is not true across-the-board for all Waldorf schools - each Waldorf school is completely free to use any organizational structure they choose - and many use very odd organizational structures from board-run, to teacher-run, to administrator-run, to parent-run. Highland Hall school, for example, has no college of teachres and is run completely by administrators. The board has adopted a "trustee" role and the teachers are basically powerless. Other schools may have a headmaster running things. There is really nothing that can be said about Waldorf organizational structure that isn't disputable - so everything will need to be weasel-worded. And that's where we get into problems with these articles. As soon as someone says "many schools have adopted a college of teachers" someone will need to add "still others have abandoned the college of teachers approach altogether" - and then what have we got? Basically two sentences that, combined, say nothing. The few elements of this article that make any sense should just be merged into the Waldorf ed article and the rest of this article should remain deleted. --Pete K 03:58, 10 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
