Welcome to Wikipedia,
I am Jim Heaphy, and would be happy to discuss Wikipedia editing with you. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 18:30, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply on my talk page. I see you made a single unreferenced edit to a wrestling article back in March, though perhaps you made other edits from an IP address. And then your recent edits to the PR statement. I also see that most of the signatories have only a handful of edits, mostly to their own user pages. The way to understand Wikipedia from the inside is to edit Wikipedia productively. The only way to to understand the onslaught of promotional editing we face is to edit in the areas where we struggle with such issues 24/7/365: Articles for Creation, Articles for Deletion, New Pages Patrol, the Conflict of Interest Noticeboard, the Reliable Sources Noticeboard, the Administrative Incidents Noticeboard, and so on. That's why I used the word "sanctimonious" in my blog post. Grand pronouncements are of little value. Here on Wikipedia, we judge editors solely on their editing history. So, you can prove yourself here in only one way: productive editing that improves the encyclopedia and helps to restrain the hordes of promotional editors.
