Typo redirect Sex pope

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Sex pope, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Sex pope is a redirect page resulting from an implausible typo (CSD R3).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Sex pope, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 21:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

DYK nomination of Fermín Salvochea

edit

Hello! Your submission of Fermín Salvochea at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and there still are some issues that may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Punkmorten (talk) 08:31, 5 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have just moved this to go on the main page. However the hook says "early" but nothing in the article. I look at Anarchism in Spain .... no mention of this person. All the refs are in Spanish, so I have found a ref in english on google and added it to your article. Could you check any of your other nominations? Victuallers (talk) 11:53, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thx for the extra changes. I believe your article will go to the main page in the next day. Please be aware that your other article has hit problems so look here and you can comment on the changes you make. Do feel welcome.... we are all trying to improve wiipedia. Translations are good as we see other cultures, but some are worried that we will see too much robot assistance. Cheers Victuallers (talk) 10:24, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Madhava 1947! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 99 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Bank Janardhan - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Kumar Govind - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Proposed deletion of The Soviet Union Versus Socialism

edit

The article The Soviet Union Versus Socialism has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article is not sourced, and does not established notability by way of indepth coverage by sources not connected with the subject.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
