Please refer to the discussion under Talk:Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory for more conversation on this. I am trying to set the public record straight; arguably others are trying to create an inaccurate and misleading representation of happenings on this bridge, which is not in the public's interest and is contrary to the mission of Wikipedia to to "empower and engage people around the world to collect and develop educational content under a free license or in the public domain, and to disseminate it effectively and globally." If some incidents are listed, countermeasures (e.g. the phones), and the counter-measure has failed (e.g. suicides accelerating after the phones were installed), and if earlier individual incidents remain listed, then people are left with the misleading impression that the phones are effective when they are not. Refusing to allow me to use appropriate citations to document an important fact is arguably the harm being caused here. MaineMother (talk) 11:37, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
