Adoption
editHi GreenCKE - figured I'd move this discussion across to your talkpage to make it more accessible for you. Well done on setting up your adoption school; you can now start working through the tasks there. Let me know when you complete one (they don't have to be done in order) and I'll review it for you, explain anything that might seem unclear, and let you know how you did. This isn't a restriction on your normal editing - you don't have to finish the adoption school before going to work on articles - so feel free to carry on as normal with Wikipedia at the same time. I'll cast an eye over your editing occasionally, and comment if I think it's necessary, but generally I'm happy for you to just go about your business; if you need help with anything, just ask. All the best, Yunshui 雲水 12:01, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

A 100% accuracy rate on the speedy deletion section - well done! I think that's the first time anyone's aced that particular test. You might want to consider becoming a new page patroller - it's clear that you have a good grasp of the deletion policy, which is a real asset in reviewing new articles. - Oh, wow. I didn't expect to get a full 100% for that! New page patrol does look interesting, I'll have a go at that later. GreenCKE 11:49, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
I'm glad I unblocked you
editI just added yet another tick to your adoption school (for the sensible comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pegboard Nerds), and it struck me that I'm now very glad I unblocked you; a quick glance over your edits in the last week shows that you've become a constructive, mature and helpful editor; you're now a definite net positive to the project. Just thought I'd let you know that I'm proud to have you as an adoptee. Yunshui 雲水 12:46, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- Reading this made me feel great, and I'm very happy that you think good about me. I enjoy being a good contributor to Wikipedia (if only I could remove my previous edits from my contributions page) Eventually I'll be getting myself a computer and I'll be able to make better edits and not be limited to 500 MB a month. I've made edits from college PCs when I've had time, and I find it so much easier than over a phone. GreenCKE 14:33, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- You do remarkably well considering you're editing from a phone; I tried doing so once and came close to putting the phone in question through a wall in frustration... Give me a proper keyboard any day. Yunshui 雲水 10:19, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- I don't find it too frustrating, it has a big screen and easy to use keyboard. I still prefer using computers by far, though. GreenCKE 15:21, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
