Reference errors on 20 January
editHello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:23, 21 January 2017 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 7
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Generative Systems: Art, Science and Technology, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Evanston and 3D. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disambiguation link notification for December 14
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sonia Landy Sheridan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Guggenheim Foundation (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Mirrors
edit Thanks for contributing to the article Marian Lopez Fernandez-Cao. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Kuru (talk) 16:46, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
- Marisa, this seems to be a recurring problem. You have again added a very clearly identified mirror as a source at John Dunn artist. Please be very, very careful in your sourcing of biographies. Kuru (talk) 11:58, 6 April 2018 (UTC)
COI warning
edit- editing articles related to you, your family or colleagues, your organization or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.
John F. Dunn
editThere have been many edits to the John F. Dunn article indicating that he has died. But no editors have given a source for that information, which is needed per Wikipedia policy regarding biographies. I see you have made many contributions to this article in the past. Can you cite a source for this information? Where did you hear the news? Willondon (talk) 13:04, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Willondon
I AM THE PERSON THAT DID JOHN DUNN´s ARTICLE. HE DIED, HIS TEACHER SONIA LANDY SHERIDAN AND HIS WIFE Mary Anne Clark THEY TOLD ME THAT TERRIBLE NEWS.
AND I WAS IN CHARGE OF ADDING IT TO HIS WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE. PLEASE DONT REVERT IT AGAIN. IT TAKES TIME TO DO IT. THANKS
- Sorry, but it should be reverted until a reliable source can be found for it. Again, per Wikipedia policy regarding biographies. Are there any newsletters or periodic publications from the University of Florida or the Art Institute of Chicago that might confirm this loss? Maybe an obituary in a trusted newspaper? Willondon (talk) 13:30, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

The article Genealogías feministas en el arte español has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Article in Spanish, which nobody cared to translate in two weeks; the notability is doubtful.

notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

A tag has been placed on María José Sevilla, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. María José Sevilla moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, María José Sevilla, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. editHello, I'm Stwalkerster. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sonia Sheridan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. stwalkerster (talk) 21:16, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, it's me again. I've removed the date of death from this article again because once again you didn't provide a reliable source to support it. Wikidata, as awesome as it is, is not a reliable source, and the date of death on Wikidata is also unsourced, so it's useless for one of our readers to use to verify what we're writing is accurate. Please only re-add this if you can cite a published reliable source which others can use to independently verify what is written in the article. stwalkerster (talk) 22:43, 21 November 2021 (UTC)

editThanks for your contributions to Paula Cofresí. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has too many problems of language or grammar. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
