Thank you

Mark, thank you for your help on the Evelyn Whitaker page. I'm just getting started and learning as I go along. I'll check out your suggestions and reread the articles. I appreciate your help with the footnote bug.--Cummings Rice 71 13:51, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Lighten up

I was simply fixing the mess you created. Get your panties out of a wad. --Zpb52 04:49, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

I DID NOT CREATE A MESS. YOU DELETED MY CHANGES BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE BROKE THE INFO BOX. YOU DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK AT THE HISTORY LOG TO FIND OUT WHO BROKE THE PAGE BEFORE YOU DELETED MY EDITS.
Look, as far as I can see your intentions are good, but you should spend more time actually figuring out who broke a page before you revert it and delete other peoples changes. Mark Grant 11:20, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

Besides the strange coincidence that I have a sibling who happens to love horses I find the two incidences of vandalism on my userpage quite bizarre as well :) Thanks for reverting them though! --Yuyudevil 14:15, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

The 5.56x39 NATO

Ok I will cease fire lol, but they have not made huge improvements to the round. The people have the right to know the truth about the senseless danger the feds are putting our troops in. Oh and one more thing! How do you make the formatt changes for WikipediA?

The 5.56x39 NATO

Thanks, but I'm starting to rethink it, and maybe I should consult the athure first and think about it a little more, maybe it shouldent be up thare after all.

Your use of prod

On pages such as Gas_Fryers_VS._Electric_Fryers you should probably use {{copyvio}} instead. See Template:copyvio. An admin will see there is no incoming links. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 21:40, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Technically I'm not sure that it is a copyright violation: look at the user name of the person who posted it. But it is non-wiki content. Mark Grant 21:54, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
OK, I hadn't looked. However, with the username starting with "Ad " as in advertising, I just flagged a few other contribs of theirs. — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 22:09, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

Charlotte Szlovak

I'm working on it. She's done much more than her woefully inadequate IMDb profile indicates. She has been writing and directing films since the 1970s. Also, you might be a bit more patient. You notified me almost immediately after I created the article.

Sullenspice 15:37, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

I am patient: many people would have marked it for speedy deletion, I was trying to help you before someone did that. Mark Grant 19:54, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Bree Williamson

You slapped a speedy tag on Bree Williamson. Please check the page history next time, as it turns out it was vandalized. Punkmorten 13:44, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Ooops, sorry: I was clearing junk out of the dead-end pages and must have forgotten to check the history on that one. Mark Grant 13:45, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

sorry about edit conflicts

Mark, I was trying to make the intro of the flavors of theories section more coherent while you were shifting stuff around and I think I stepped on your edit of that section. I beleive that some context of why there are different theories is important before presentng them so I think something like the language I addded is necessary (as the article stands). I'm sorry for incovenience. Numskll 01:14, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

No problem, I expected someone to have made edits before I was finished :). I think I merged the other changes in properly. Mark Grant 01:15, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Yeah. I see how your moves make sense. I'll try to begin more fine grain edits to support this structure, as it conforms to my broader view of the topic. Maybe we can do some divvying up of the work on the articles talk page, though I suspect that discussion could be fodder for more immature and misguided POV edits and it might be best to simple try to improve it ad hoc. Numskll 01:31, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Probably. I think 'just do it' makes more sense. Mark Grant 01:38, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Lonelygirl15

Glad to see you in the discussion also! =) Unfortunately by the looks on it, it could go on indefinitely without ever ending. I suggest if we really want to end it, we make a quick list of the reasons why it should not be kept, and ask an admin for advice. Please contact me on my talk page if you think it's a good (or bad) idea. –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 02:29, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Do you have IRC, or use Mozilla Firefox? The talk page is now longer than most featured articles, it'd be nice if I could contact you directly. If you use Firefox, download the free extension Chatzilla here and we can talk on the IRC channel #esperanza (Clicking the link will open it after Chatzilla is active). –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 02:47, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Kristin Kreuk

I got a message on my talk page supposedly from SpecialSylvia's father, though I have more than serious doubts about a father who cannot distinguish his daughter from an entirely different person. It's turning in to a mess. --Yamla 01:28, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

You said: "BTW, someone claiming to be User:Bethicalyna, who was just banned, is posting from the same IP address used by someone claiming to be 'SpecialSylvia': see User talk:Alexbuirds, User talk:CyclePat and User talk:Schrandit. Seem to be an amazing number of teenager wikipedians sharing that IP address."

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me at all. I was absolutely sure that SpecialSylvia was part of that mess. I've blocked the IP address for one month. I have reached the limit of my patience. That said, I (probably naively) only blocked the IP address, not the other sockpuppets we know about. --Yamla 22:32, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
