Conflict of Interest
editPlease see Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest. -DawnDusk (talk) 19:41, 11 February 2021 (UTC)
About your article...
editHello Maxmuscato, I noticed that your article about yourself was declined due because of a lack of reliable resources. From what I'm seeing, you do qualify for an article. However, your current draft needs a large amount of fixes, and the end product will have to be a lot shorter. If you'd like, I can help you with the article. Regards, versacespace (talk) 00:24, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

Autobiography and conflict of interest
editHello, I'm BlackcurrantTea. I understand that you'd like Wikipedia to have an article about you, but creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged. Please read the guideline on autobiographies for an explanation of the reasons why that is. Editing with a conflict of interest is tricky under the best of circumstances, and there's no greater conflict of interest than when you're writing about yourself.
The subject of any Wikipedia article should be notable. Notability can be a tough standard to meet. Generally, it means that the subject has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Press releases, local blogs, and biographies at websites like Soundcloud don't count, nor do brief mentions, even if they're in well-known publications or websites. For musicians, notability could mean meeting one or more of the standards listed at WP:MUSICBIO; however, none of this is a guarantee. Even if your autobiography is accepted as an article, it may be deleted. I don't wish to discourage you from editing Wikipedia in general, but please don't try to write an autobiography. Kind regards, BlackcurrantTea (talk) 00:00, 20 February 2021 (UTC)
