Lowpoint

edit

Thank you, I am trying to make a correction. Your site is misspelling the name of my home town. It was Low Point until 1895, at which time it was changed to Lowpoint. I left a reference for you on the pages I edited. You could also telephone the Woodford County Clerk and Recorder, as I did to verify, at 309-467-2822. I have known this all my life, as my mother was a member of the historical society and even has written history books regarding the towns in Woodford County, Illinois. I assure you this is correct: the name of the town is Lowpoint, not Low Point. mia2kl Mia2kl (talk) 20:12, 2 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I've proposed to move Low Point, Illinois to Lowpoint, Illinois as you mentioned, to make sure everyone understands what's going on. You can contribute at the bottom of Talk:Low Point, Illinois#Move to Lowpoint if you wish. --Closeapple (talk) 23:37, 9 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
