Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of motor yachts by length, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sea Stallion. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

List of motor yachts

edit

Hi, back in July you made a series of 5 edits that made changes to numerous entries on this list. Today, after noting some issues, I went through all your changes and ended up correcting, undoing and/or sourcing a large majority of them. Sourcing in particular was a big issue. On list articles, entries without a linked parent article must be sourced. If there is a parent article, the you need to ensure it has sufficient sourcing for everything you add or change in an entry. For changes you made to entries with a parent article, I checked it as well but often found the sourcing needed wasn't there. In some cases I also found you made page moves when you really shouldn't have.

This was a lot of work, and as such I would ask that you take some time to review the policies and guidelines that must be followed when editing. I don't mean to sound harsh, I know you're new to the project (as we all were) and there is a lot to learn. I also note that you have a welcome template at the top of your page, and if you haven't already, I would strongly encourage you to read through all the links it contains as this is extremely beneficial to new users (though, when I welcome new users, this is the template I use, I find it provides a great deal more information). Everything we do here is guided by policy, and you will find that in most discussions, people often cite policy (with shortform wiki-speak, that takes a while to learn as well). For example, new users should refrain from moving articles until they are more knowledgable about it. In the meantime, if you believe a page should be moved, you can make a request at WP:RM. (<-and that is an example of the shortcuts you'll often see cited on talk pages).

Anyway, this is now longer than I intended, so I'll end it here. If you have any questions, let me know. - wolf 05:11, 5 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, wolfchild !
Excuse me, but you made many mistakes, like the inversion of the names of Emir / O'Mega. For HBC / C2, my revisions were also the right thing (please accept my apologies for my approximative English language, I'm just a poor frenchie !), so please check yourself my sayings and revert your changes. I won't do it on my own, cause I don't want to occure any edition war but it's a pity for me to consider my work went down this way.
Best regards from France. Mitchosaure (talk) 08:41, 6 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
This is how the C2 article looked as you had left it, can you point to the ref that states C2 was renamed HBC? As for O'Mega, refs state it was sold and renamed Emir. Is that incorrect, or referring to the wrong boat? - wolf 14:15, 7 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please accept my apologies, Emir is the actual name of the ship. For HBC, you can check it here : https://www.charterworld.com/index.html?sub=yacht-charter&charter=motor-yacht-c-ex-ann-project-blue-sky-7214
Or here:

Hoping that everything is correct. Mitchosaure (talk) 15:00, 7 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ah, well... comme ci, comme ça. Feel free to change C2/HBC back without fear of edit warring. - wolf 21:53, 7 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
Monsieur est trop bon ! 😁
Peaceful night here in Paris beneath the towers of Notre-Dame. May this peace be with you ! Mitchosaure (talk) 21:58, 7 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
