For footballers playing for national team there is a "XY international footballers" category. "XY footballers" is for all players of that ethnicity, nationality or citizenship. Therefore Marcel Desailly, although went to France as a child, is categorized under "Ghanaian footballers".

Should I remind you that we both do not have sources? and that you are not a creative editor? It is enough to see your WP statistics and compare 'em with mine. Regards. --Darwinek 10:27, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

But there is a big difference, borbely has nothing to do with hungary. --Mt7 11:11, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK. Then compromise, I have removed him from "Hungarian footballers" category but still left him in a "Hungarians in Slovakia" category. Deal. -- Darwinek 16:29, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
ok, what is with priskin, if desailly is born in ghana, priskin is born in slovakia. --Mt7 16:54, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am trying to do so, yes. There is no doubt he was a CZECHOSLOVAKIAN player. After Cz. breakup he played for Austria so we cannot really use modern Czech vs. Slovakia divisions for that period. As for Hungarian origin, this needs references or can be removed. Polish wiki states he has Hungarian citizenship...-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  20:55, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

In that case, there is a ref he was Czech, not Slovakian ([1]).-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  21:24, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Joint winners of the Czechoslovak Chess Championship

edit

Were there any joint winners of the Czechoslovak Chess Championship? Some references suggest that the 1921, 1950, and 1984 championships were shared. See Talk:Czechoslovak Chess Championship if you can help. Quale (talk) 05:07, 13 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
