NOTICE TO FELLOW EDITORS: I am very sorry that I must take an extended hiatus from WP - I am not well and am returning to my home in Praha for medical. I wish you all good health, good wishes and sincere thanks for your WP editing assistance and thoughtfulness. Pozehnani, Natasha Behrendt TashaB (talk) 18:30, 15 October 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your edit to Levi Ponce. I wrote the article six years ago and he seems to be gaining in popularity every year. I tweaked your recent edit because you added an external link to the body of the text. I converted it to an inline reference. Please see WP:EL for details. Cheers. Hollywood and La Brea Gateway
editHi Natasha, I've seen that every so often you contribute to the Hollywood and La Brea Gateway portion of the Walk of Fame article. I think that the installation may actually just warrant its own article, especially if we can find one or two more sources about it. I've had this thought for a while, as the more the section grows the less it feels like it fits in an article about the WoF. Right now there's the one main review, but I think that if we could find another piece or two like that, it could pass the notability guidelines. Would you want to expand this, and/or would you have knowledge of any more sources discussing the installation? Nole (chat·edits) 15:27, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi Nole - Thanks for writing, and yes, I can see your point about the public art sculpture's significance in the WoF article. I only recently caught the C. Knight & K. M. Williamson critical responses, so I'm unfortunately behind the times on this piece. The only thing I can think of is that on Google Maps, the sculpture is getting used as a meeting spot for various "stealth" Hollywood tour businesses. Best of luck to you, TashaB 21:33, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
Adding inline links
editHello! You seem to misunderstand how we use external links in Wikipedia articles. Per WP:EL, we rarely link to outside sites in the body of the article. Linking to outside sites is ok if done within a reference or in the external links section. So this edit, where you add many spammy links to publicartinpublicpaces.info, is not OK. I can see that a number of people have explained this to you. In my experience, if you were to persist in adding these links, which are also promoting one site, you will likely end up being blocked. It's your choice as to whether you take the advice offered by many editors, but we don't need these links that you keep adding. I'll leave a more formal warning next.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 19:34, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
- Greetings, those edits were not in-text ELs, they were online references - quite a difference. I'm sorry you made this mistake. It would be courteous if you reverted your mistake - thank you. Best, TashaB (talk) 20:26, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
- You are mistaken. How many experienced editors do you need to tell you that?ThatMontrealIP (talk) 21:25, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

A thought and an offer (and an olive branch)
editHave you ever considered creating a Wikipedia article from scratch on a sculpture? Judging from those you've linked to, it looks as if many don't have their own entries. All that's needed is (ahem) notable secondary sources (see WP:V) that cover the topic: newspaper and magazine articles. Books also work, even if they're not online. You appear to have the skills (and tenacity) to do it. I'd be happy to collaborate with you on one or at least answer questions. (Please reply here beginning with {{ping|User:Barte}} and I'll see it.) Barte (talk) 05:47, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
@Barte: I am pleased & encouraged by your “olive branch” gesture. With some thought I might be able to suggest a couple of (“ahem” redux) “notable-enough” [smile] artworks for such. And your warm offer, esp. considering what I’ve learned from your very extensive WP expertise, is very kind. Thank you. I shall consider it seriously. TashaB (talk) 18:49, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
- Great! No hurry, of course. I hope we get a chance to collaborate. Barte (talk) 19:57, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
