Grammar

edit

I have reverted most of your edits, as you changed correct grammar to incorrect. For one example. "pursued" was properly past tense while "follow" was not. In one instance I remove a hyperlink you added to confirm a person's death, as hyperlinks are not allowed in articles. David notMD (talk) 09:08, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ok,sorry for my mistake 😅 PHANTOM 097y (talk) 09:12, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Overuse of capital letters

edit

Hi there. Please could I ask you to stop typing in capital letters? This includes in edit summaries and on talk pages. It is seen as SHOUTING, and is not liked. We can read what you post quite clearly if you use lower case. Many thanks, Nick Moyes (talk) 13:10, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Wasell. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Liuzhou Forest City, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Wasell(T) 16:09, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

right PHANTOM 097y (talk) 16:30, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Tili (caste), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Wikipedia is not the right place for caste promotion. We don't accept unsourced statements or any form of WP:OR. Ekdalian (talk) 17:58, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Tili (caste), you may be blocked from editing. DO NOT CHANGE THE LEDE UNILATERALLY! You need to start a new discussion on the article talk page and achieve consensus before editing the lede. Ekdalian (talk) 09:21, 22 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tili (caste). This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Ekdalian (talk) 18:22, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Why you don't change AGRAGRIAN to mercentile? PHANTOM 097y (talk) 00:21, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi PHANTOM 097y! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Kewat that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Ekdalian (talk) 15:18, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ok thanks for your guidance PHANTOM 097y (talk) 15:42, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Notice of discretionary sanctions on caste articles

edit
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hmm I have proofs and refrences which States Tili as a mercentile and landowning caste PHANTOM 097y (talk) 16:04, 22 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Please share the sources (reliable ones) along with page numbers and quotes in the article talk page, as per WP:V, WP:BURDEN. Ekdalian (talk) 17:14, 22 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Here is reliable REFRENCE which States Tili as a mercentile and landowning community PHANTOM 097y (talk) 01:10, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
In Page no 42, this refrence claim Tili as a mercentile caste PHANTOM 097y (talk) 01:19, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
A mention in passing of Tili as a "commercial group", attributed to Prafulla Chandra Ray (1861 – 1944), is not good enough. Please use only modern academic sources for caste articles, and nothing harking back to the British Raj era. (See WP:RAJ.) Bishonen | tålk 11:59, 25 June 2024 (UTC).Reply
Why not British raj?? Is there any problem of that?? PHANTOM 097y (talk) 14:08, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, there is a problem. When I give you a link, the idea is for you to click on it and read. Again, please see WP:RAJ. Please click and read about the problem with British Raj sources. Bishonen | tålk 14:17, 25 June 2024 (UTC).Reply
Ok thank you for your guidance

Warning

edit

Civil communication is essential on Wikipedia. Don't speak to fellow editors the way you do here, and especially don't assume bad faith of their motives, as you do here, or you will soon be blocked. Also, if you persist in tendentious editing for the purpose of promoting the Tili caste, you will be blocked for that alone. Caste promotion is not allowed here. Bishonen | tålk 12:10, 25 June 2024 (UTC).Reply

Sorry for my mistake but I don't promote TILI CASTE I provide reliable information.some, peoples give wrong information about TiliS and they spread fake information for that reason I fight for Tili caste for prevention of fake info PHANTOM 097y (talk) 14:06, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
"Fighting for Tili caste" is completely the wrong attitude here. Which info is correct is determined by reliable sources, meaning up-to-date academic sources, not your own opinion, or "sources" such as "Bengal accountancy 1876" that you refer to here. Much, much too old, plus you should by that time have read my warning about Raj sources. If you don't start trying to learn from what experienced users tell you, you may be blocked on the principle that competence is required to edit Wikipedia. Bishonen | tålk 14:30, 25 June 2024 (UTC).Reply
Ok sorry I don't know that Wikipedia needs after British raj ref
I will provide you that ref too tommorow I will submit that ref PHANTOM 097y (talk) 14:52, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Adding to this,Raj Era rulings were gravely affected by personal bias, often highlighting actual marginalized classes as better stood by upper caste officials. WatteryFire (talk) 06:18, 26 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
TILI is also a upper caste 💀💀 PHANTOM 097y (talk) 08:26, 26 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's your opinion, but Wikipedia only accepts verified sources. WatteryFire (talk) 01:28, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have REFRENCES which claim Tili as a upper caste but they all are belongs to research work and British raj time period PHANTOM 097y (talk) 17:10, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Four your information: WatteryFire has been indefinitely blocked for using more than one account. This is not to say that you position on the topic is correct, only that WF will no longer be active. David notMD (talk) 17:27, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:SWAPAN.CHAKROBARTY011112 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SWAPAN.CHAKROBARTY011112. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
