This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of John Russell (Politician), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.johnrussellforcongress.com/page.asp?PageId=20.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Speedy deletion nomination of John Russell (Politician)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on John Russell (Politician) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Dean Heller, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This is another example. Sources say he will announce, but he has not at this point announced anything. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:55, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:21, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Template help
editWhen adding a template such as Template:ElectionsFL to an election page, you don't copy and paste the contents of the template on the election page. You add {{ElectionsFL}} to the top of the page just below the election infobox, and that inserts the template. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:43, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

Your editing needs improvement
editI see you haven't taken any of my suggestions into account. Your editing remains sloppy and leaves other editors, including but not limited to me, cleaning up some of your messes. John Ensign
editThanks for your edits re: Ensign's resignation. Just wanted to remind you that we need some reliable sources on the issue, and we need to be careful not to go beyond them. Until there is reliable, national coverage, it's probably best to wait to update his page and others. In any case, if this is confirmed, he is still serving and will probably not leave the Senate for several weeks. Until he has left office definitively, he is still a Senator and is still serving alongside Reid. Keepcalmandcarryon (talk) 23:20, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the citation. Keepcalmandcarryon (talk) 23:27, 21 April 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not going to revert your edits because they will become accurate in a few hours, but FYI, the statement in today's Congressional Record says Ensign's resignation is effective at the close of business on May 3 (later today, but it hasn't happened yet). Furthermore, as of right now, the House Website still lists Heller as a serving representative. So you jumped the gun by at least a couple of hours. JTRH (talk) 17:42, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

Status and Advice
editAs reviewing administrator, I removed the speedy on both articles, with the reason: "underconstruction--do not tag as no content immediately after starting, especially when part of a good series." It's obvious that an article can be written on this that will stand up, and the material in the infobox is enough to start with. (It will of course need references, but that should be very easdy).
However, unfortunately some people here think an article like this should be deleted, some of them even without giving it a reasonable chance to be completed. I suggest you deal with this by always adding one sentence of prose and a reference at the first edit. It shouldn't be necessary, but at present it is. DGG ( talk ) 06:36, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- This is an ongoing issue with this editor, as he/she creates these pages and moves on when they're at this stage. I'm sick and tired of doing the work on an article that is of such low priority. – Muboshgu (talk) 13:55, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Valfontis (talk) 20:51, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
The article San Diego general elections, November 2011 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Denied CSD A1 even though there is no context here. If Peterzbear can't create a complete stub article, he shouldn't bother.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:38, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Wisconsin polling
editI don't want to sound mean here but please stop editing the polling section for the Wisconsin senate election. I can tell you don't edit them that much and I will go ahead and clean it up. Rxguy (talk) 21:22, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for March 9
editHi. When you recently edited Agriculture Commissioner of Florida General election, 1994, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jim Smith (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
