Park Geun-hye pic switch

edit

Hello, Pierre. I've reverted your photo switch on Park_Geun-hye, with the edit summary: No reason given for changing picture, and her face is so small in the "new" one (Cyberspace 02) that it's more like a news photo for an article about the conference than a portrait.

I see that this is your first edit as a registered user. Please read Help: Editing, and don't hesitate to ask questions at the Teahouse. Thnidu (talk) 09:30, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Right Honourable

edit

Hi Pierre Lam! I see that you have been adding The Right Honourable to a number of infoboxes. The only people who this applies to are lords of members of the Privy Council. It is not an automatic tile granted to MPs and AMs. Please go back and correct (IE remove) these edits please. You can go to your contributions page at the right hand corner of the screen if you have forgotten which articles you have edited. If you don't want to or don't feel able to, say here and I will revert those edits for you. Thanks, Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 13:08, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Austrian election pics

edit

Hello. Instead of reverting when another editor undoes your changes, you should seek consensus on the article's talk page for your proposed changes (see WP:BRD). As I noted in the edit summary, your choice of image for Hofer is particularly inappropriate as the infobox should have portrait images, rather than the landscape image you are trying to insert. I look forward to seeing your rationale at Talk:Austrian presidential election, 2016. Cheers, Number 57 15:13, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, this is Pierre Lam (former ThomasPark02). I understood why my edits were vandalism and why you guys blocked me. However, I would like to appeal that some of my changes like Nick Clegg or Enda Kenny was very necessary. Now it has been changed by Ebonelm, but Ed Miliband and Martin O'Malley was also helpful. At SPI investigation, some changes that users appealed was wrong. Since I share IP address with my classmates in school, when some of my classmates make inappropriate changes, users think I am responsible for it. My classmates are very ghetto boys, so they like to fool with Wikipedia. Since my classmates edited most of the IP edits, I believe that I should be unblocked by Wikipedia.

Decline reason:

You should have appealed the block on your original account, rather than create a new account. Also, the sockpuppet determination appears to only have been based on edits by this registered account, not on any IP edits, so you have only yourself to blame, not your classmates. —C.Fred (talk) 02:10, 26 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Hello, this is Pierre Lam appealing again. Since all of my accounts are now blocked, I think it is my best way to appeal in here. Some stupid edits that I made were the mistake. I know that I made tonnes of edits to Irish senators, British MPs and other politicians were edits made when I was a foolish student. Now, since I am mentally beaten by Ebonelm or DrKay, I apologised to them and trying to fix my low behaviour. For further edits, I will check the information before the edit, so please please give me one more chance to maintain Wikipedia spirit and be far away from vandalism.

Decline reason:

No. Make the request on your original account. Yamla (talk) 02:29, 26 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
