Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Kevin Michael Bradshaw. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Draft:Kevin Michael Bradshaw, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Longhair\talk 11:35, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi There, my name is Kate Napier and I have created this page under the user: kate.napier28@gmail.com and username Kevin Michael Bradshaw for the title. Can you please let me know that this is OK and do I need to do anything else, and has the draft gone for queuing to be published?

Can wikipedia change my username perhaps to make it more simple? I only put Kevin Michael Bradshaw so the title would reflect as I am new to Wikipedia and wasn't sure how to do it at first.

Hello. I have replied on my own talk page to your questions and also provided links to the information you require. -- Longhair\talk 12:15, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi there - thank you so much for your guidance - I have done all of this now and submitted for review - I definitely know how to use wikipedia properly now thanks to your brilliant help.

I work for the company Northgate Plc in which Kevin Michael Bradshaw is CEO. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Princesskate198 (talkcontribs)

No problem, Now you need to wait until someone review the draft (waiting time right now is 2 weeks), and please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking   or by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. ‐‐1997kB (talk) 13:23, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Awesome - will do this now going forward (Princesskate198 (talk) 13:25, 12 June 2018 (UTC))Reply
