Can you compare/contrast this one with Wikipedia:WikiProject_User_scripts/Scripts/Force_edit_summary )on which it is based?) ? Would you use both of these together, or pick one or the other (presumably the latter)? What are the advantages of yours? It seems to have a lot of features and abbreviations. How does one install it? Thanks for sharing this with the community! ++Lar: t/c 15:44, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- Force_edit_summary just queries you to enter a summary if you haven't. auto_summary.js actually fills in the summary with a diff. Its functionality is a superset of force_edit_summary, so you don't need the other one. —Quarl (talk) 2006-02-02 00:35Z
I am designing a system for using user scripts, for now you can copy relevant sections from User:Quarl/monobook.js: the winc() function, the lines to include the library functions, and the line for auto_summary.js. —Quarl (talk) 2006-02-02 00:35Z
