AfD
Hey RHaworth, you prodded Retro Force (The Video Game). The PROD was removed without explanation and I've taken the liberty of listing it at AfD, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Retro Force (The Video Game). Thanks, Drmies (talk) 18:34, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

dePROD
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Hadley's Theorem, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! My reasoning was "Theorem not previously noted, most likely because it is far from obvious. Theorem is surprisingly nice, and reminiscent of Pythagoras. The "simple" proof uses a little-known theorem from Euclid" Extcetc (talk) 02:51, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

Please can you email me the first version of this page, I was trying to finish it so I could have it right. I had already disagreed with the deletion of my page, and yet it was still deleted with no discussion. Please email me the correct first page. Thank you. Matt (talk) 12:09, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
- In answer to your message. I have nothing to do with this charity and not a trustee or anything, I am trying to set it up so that it's correct. Please send me the page ASAP. The Glanfield Hospitalite Trust has gone and replaced by this – its a simple change over, so there's no need for deletion.
Please can you explain why this page was deleted when I explained on the discussion page why it was of importance? — (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 13:44, 24 September 2010 (UTC).
- Was not this message a necessary and sufficient answer to your question? In any case, I strongly recommend you to have the decency to wait until someone with no COI decides the firm is notable and writes about it. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 14:25, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

"The Magic Boys" – revert or send to AfD?
Hi RHaworth, This IP editor has removed the Prod template. Should we revert or send the article to AfD? -- Shirt58 (talk) 12:32, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Sonnet Mondal
Dear Haworth, I want to recreate a deleted article about Sonnet Mondal. What I felt before was that the article was written by some user with poor or no references and with vague links before but now I have found several reliable sources in the net to write the article properly.I want to write an article but the page has been locked by you as I saw. Please reopen the locking and let me write the article with reliable references and notability. Please help. best Rohit -- Poet009 (talk) 15:49, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- The deleted article was three lines of shouting with no refs. But I would still like to see a draft in User:Poet009/sandbox before I unprotect. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 15:59, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Thank you very much.I will follow your instructions and I am writing the article in my sandbox. After I write it, I will let you know.Thanks. Best, Rohit.--220.225.86.87 (talk) 16:03, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Dear Haworth, kindly take a look at the article in User:Poet009/sandbox. If it satisfies you please unprotect the article so that I can contribute it. best Rohit --Poet009 (talk) 17:01, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- The link to this page which shows he has received an accolade, is broken. Please fix. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:28, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Fixed the link properly which mentions his name as Bombadil's Poet Laureate. Sorry for the broken link added at first. The corrected link-[1] Thanks, Rohit--Poet009 (talk) 12:42, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
- RHaworth, you might want to look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sonnet mondal, where the subject's notability was extensively discussed. The subject simply recreated it under a different capitalization of his last name (the article you had earlier deleted), whereas the AFD was on the one where the last name is in lower case. --Ragib (talk) 21:56, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Dear Haworth, I dont know why user Ragib has deleted this article after I had created it properly. Please take some action.I think you have taken a look at the references provided in the article before you moved it from my sandbox. And yes I told you sir that the article was not created properly before but Ragib is surprisingly not ready to read the new creation again but bent upon deleting it.Please take action. Thanks, Rohit--Poet009 (talk) 03:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Dear Haworth I think an article may not be created properly before due to which it was deleted at AFD but If it is recreated with proper references why should it be deleted.Earlier it was deleted as there were no proper references provided.Anyways, please look into the matter. If you think it alright then its ok.--Poet009 (talk) 03:29, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi Sonnet, FYI, I have not deleted your article. However, there has been a proper deletion discussion on the article which soundly established the non notability of the subject. --Ragib (talk) 08:44, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
First of all quite amusing y Ragib calls me sonnet.Secondly yes there has been a deletion discussion which I did read but then the article was poorly created with no reliable references but talking of notability I have referred several articles poorly referenced to you which you did not tag. They are still in your talk page. You seem to concentrate just on a few articles.I don't care whether you delete this article. Its ok but others which are poorly referenced should also be deleted according to WP policy.best Rohit --Poet009 (talk) 09:14, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Wikipedia G4 policy applies when there is an unimproved version of an article created but I had improved the article with proper references from reputed websites.I had taken permission to create the page from Haworth, still you are bent upon deleting the article or tagging it with the same.I had not left a line in the article without a reference.Still deleted. Its a pity.--Poet009 (talk) 09:18, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you Ragib for pointing out the AfD. I did wonder whether an accolade from a Swedish (self-?) publishing house was sufficient evidence. I agree with the latest deletion. Poet009, if you insist on trying to create an article, go to deletion review. You probably had the sense to keep a copy of your latest text, but if not, I can e-mail it to you. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:51, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
RateSetter
I noticed that my article about RateSetter has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I was wondering if that is because I didn’t provide external references in time.
Peer-to-peer lending becomes more and more popular due to the current economic crisis. I have recently come across this site recommended by a friend and I have signed up to be a lending customer. They are providing some different services and products compared with the traditional ones mentioned on Peer to peer lending and the ones provide by the companies on Category:Peer-to-peer lending companies.
I am very interested in the topics related to peer-to-peer landing and I have benefited a lot from the aforementioned articles on Wikipedia. I just wanted to explain what the company was and what they provided, so that people could be aware of what has been offered and changed in this new industry. How do I make it better so that it can be published as an addition to the aforementioned Wikipedia articles?
Many thanks, Lucy2010! (talk) 20:56, 29 September 2010 (UTC)—Preceding unsigned comment added by Lucy2010! (talk • contribs) 20:39, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, of course it was the lack of references. Also, despite your claims to be merely a lender (which I would not count as COI), your contribution history leads one to suspect that you might represent the company. Feel free to try again. (The fact that I lend through Zopa has, of course nothing to do with it!). — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:59, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for your response. Great idea, maybe I should speak to the company to see if I could represent them. LOL. Also, Zopa is great. The whole thing about peer-to-peer lending is very interesting. Despite of a lack of long-term contribution, I have been a loyal reader for many years for both academic and entertaining purposes. I guess it’s never too late for one (who just found a niche and encouragement) to start contributing on this great site. So does it mean that I can just create a new article about RateSetter with the relevant references linked to it? Thanks. Lucy2010! (talk) 20:56, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- Wrong way round! You create a new article which contains links to the relevant references – almost by definition, reliable sources are sources which you cannot edit. Probably better to submit it via the AfC process rather than posting it direct. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:06, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Bad deletion
Per WP:CSD G8, we do not delete local image talk pages just because the image lives on Commons. Hence this deletion [2] is in error. What you deleted was actually a vandalized page, since the person tagging it for deletion also blanked the page. Dragons flight (talk) 18:07, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- Same for [3].
- I've also started a related discussion at Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#Image talk pages for Commons' images. That discussion isn't meant to single you out, but is inspired by both your action and similar actions I've seen by other people. Dragons flight (talk) 18:11, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

article 'Demetrios Vassiliades'
The article ‘Demetrios Vassiliades’ was removed without giving proper explanations. This article is an exact translation from the same article appearing in the Greek edition.
This looks like a self-promotional entry; (not exactly, it promotes his work in Indology and Indo-Greek studies). 'he even included himself' as a known member of the Greek Diaspora even though he lives in Athens [True he has taught in Athens University for 5 years, but he lived in India for 20 years and now works at Benaras Hindu University as Fellow of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations]. He is not referenced, [no true. Check: www.elinepa.org/presidentpage.htm and the net] at he has written one obscure work in the English language and does not even appear to be o [you can get and read this ‘obscure’ work from Amazon.com, he has contributed several more papers in academic journals not mentioned in the article]° —Preceding unsigned comment added by Apollonian smile (talk • contribs) 03:40, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
Why did you delete this page? The log says: A9..., but the A9 criteria states: "An article about a musical recording that does not indicate why its subject is important or significant and (pay attention to the logical [and grammatical] conjunction) where the ARTIST's ARTICLE DOES NOT EXIST!!!" So, what's this page about??? The artist's article DOES EXIST, so that article does NOT fall under the A9 criteria. I'm not discussing the deletion of that article, or how much "important" and "significant" it was, but I want to bring to your attention the fact that when you perform a speedy deletion procedure, then you have to pay more and more attention. You MUST be (100%, or 150%) sure of what you are doing! It is not necessary that you respond to me. Thanks. –pjoef (talk • contribs) 10:13, 7 October 2010 (UTC)

I created a wiki page about my company CyberCPU Computer Repair and it was deleted due to copy write violation. Since the original text belongs to me I am not sure how that can be a violation since I decided to post my content.

Hello RHaworth. I am just letting you know that I deleted Zamir Telecom, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. GedUK 12:01, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi! I see you were involved in trying to sort out the article name earlier today (c.f. Independent Order of Odd Fellows – Manchester Unity.)
The article was, and probably still is, a massive copyright violation, and it was heavily sprinkled with errors in facts. The pictures it included are all copyright, and were uploaded to commons by the editor in question, stated as being "own work".
The article is also largely a duplication of Oddfellows.
And the same author has made massive changes to IOOF – they, too, are probably copyright violations and contain some errors. The changes made also replace accurate cited text.
There are also massive changes to other articles, and the creation of articles, all of which appear to contain errors in facts.
The damage list includes:
- Oddfellows
- Independent Order of Oddfellows (Manchester Unity)
- Independent Order of Odd Fellows
- Schuyler Colfax
- International Association of Rebekah Assemblies
- Junior Odd Fellows
- Theta Rho Girls
- Independent Order of Odd Fellows Philippines
It amazes me just how much damage one person can do in just 137 edits!
I'd appreciate a bit of guidance on how to deal with all this – it's taking up far too much of everybody elses time. Simply reverting all of this editor's contributions doesn't sound like a good solution, though it is MUCH easier than the hours I have put into trying to clean up.

Answer about proposed deletion of International Federation of Poetry Associations. Among the board of direction of this federation are Société des Poètes Français, the only french representative poets association, born in 1902, and [4]Biennales Internationales de Poésie, a very famous belgian association, recognized by UNESCO. So I think that this notice, view from Europe, have a sufficient evidence of notability. Note I'm not english fluent, so I feel a major impediment to discuss about this proposal of deletion :-) C10H16 (talk) 14:15, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Why article removed?
I would like to know more information on why my article was removed and why so quickly? I followed the dispute rules as per wikipedia but by article was up for less than 8 hours. There are several other organizations that have very similar pages on the site that have not been removed although they have these tags:
This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it or discuss these issues on the talk page. It needs additional references or sources for verification. Tagged since December 2009. It is written like an advertisement and needs to be rewritten from a neutral point of view. Tagged since November 2008. Very few or no other articles link to it. Please help introduce links to this page from other articles related to it. Tagged since December 2009.
Why is this page allowed to stay up while mine gets deleted within 8 hours? Are there changes I could have made to ensure it stayed up? I wasn't given much time before it was removed. I would also prefer to communicate privately however it seems your email option is disabled. I look forward to your response. — TCGI IT (talk) 23:28, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
- It is considered common courtesy when leaving a message such as the above, to provide a link to the article. I shall do it for you: TCG International Inc. You are blatantly trying to promote your own company and your article made absolutely no attempt to provide independent evidence of notability. The best, I can suggest is that you follow this advice. I think you found e-mail disabled because your account is too new. But even if you had e-mailed me, I would have replied on a Wikipedia talk page – why on earth should the matter be private? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 00:03, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi RHaworth, I noticed that you deleted the page for "Drupal Connect". They created a Drupal website for our company and did a great job & saw that they were not in Wikipedia. They are the largest Drupal firm with over 40+ developers and have contributed a lot to the Drupal Community. When I wrote the piece on them, I referenced 3 credible sources & by no means did I make it an advertisement. Can you please let me know what I can do to put the Company back up on Wikipedia? Hi RHaworth, you are absolutely right to delete the page because of copyright issues. As a matter of fact, I represent Allegro Film which is holder of all rights. They are willing to give all rights of the press material to Wikipedia. In former days, I just got a number and could right [write?] a copyright lease. Is this changed now? How it is done now?

- Providing a copyright release for presseinfo.pdf is pointless – it is written in an hopelessly unencyclopedic tone and would need to be totally re-written for Wikipedia. But what you could, most usefully do is place at the bottom of pressefotos.php a notice saying that all the images are available under the Creative Commons licence – see {{cc-by-2.5}} for example.
- However, I warn you and Hinterholzer (talk · contribs) that we strongly dislike advertisers and people with a COI. SoSouth removal
I appreciate your time and input to the Wiki community but I completely disagree with removing my new page for Sosouth.
I was just about to enter the word {{hang on}} when the page disappeared. I couldn't have had more than a 20 minute notice (I was just getting some soup). I haven't used Wiki in a while and the email associated with my account was bad but I assure you I'm a real person trying to add legitimate content to Wikipedia.
I've read the criteria and I do believe SoSouth deserves a page. A quick Google search shows many pages of linked material and a few articles, some is also managed by SoSouth but what you can't find in an internet search is the 1000+ times SoSouth is listed inside Itunes as record label and music distributer for the many titles it distributes.
The site is significant to the Rap Community in Houston Texas with more than 500 unique visitors a day and more than 100 music business clients who get paid monthly from the business.
As the site is about to launch a new phase of on-line distribution and it's new CD distribution deal with Koch/E1 it's time for a Wiki page.
Please reverse the removal of Sosouth or let me know how I can do it myself. Thanks Randy Haaga. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rhaaga (talk • contribs)

- Firstly I must make it clear that Wikipedia takes a very dim view indeed of people who have a blatant COI – see what I have done to more extreme cases! But I have to admit that in this case, the subject has received some media attention – why on earth did you not put the Daily Wail and dvice.com links in the article? I will give you a couple of days to improve it so that it looks like a Wikipedia article: {{wikify}} (how about starting with "ThermaHelm is"??), move external links to the bottom as refs or external links, etc. Then I will send it to AfD. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:29, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

I have indeed thanked this editor. I feel that it should be noted that there is a vast disparity between the ethos of gatekeeper approach and the altruistic, helpful attitude of Pjoef. Whilst on one hand gatekeepers keep order, mistakes can be made (certainly not in my case, don't get me wrong) and yet these can only cause those innocents to be rendered hurt by the condescension and pontification. It's easy to be socially abrasive and suited for an episode of Grumpy Old Men; the more draining on one's mental acuity is adoption of an unjaded, nurturing attitude to mankind. Indeed, angry kitten, bite away at those whom abstractly violate the obvious, just hold in reserve a smattering of common sense to coddle the young and the innocent. My child needed a helping hand and only managed to find one previously scarred by a bite from you. Hailypaige (talk) 21:33, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Deletion of M6bone article
I'm new here, and I'm not sure why my M6bone article was deleted.
It's a translation of the german M6Bone article which appears to fit the rules fine. It is a project which is based on 6bone and mbone, yet all of these pages are apparently fine. If this were a new page by itself I would possibly be more understanding, but the fact that it was deleted without anybody bothering to check that it is simply a translation of the German page seems quite unprofessional.
I think the page should be there (or the german page and the similar 6bone and mbone pages need to go) as a matter of consistency, but it's enough of a kick in the face that my first article was removed without anybody telling me, I'd rather not put it straight back up only to have it removed again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Russelsamu (talk • contribs) 00:36, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- Other stuff exists is never a valid argument. 6bone is not a good example to cite – that is unreferenced. Re-create the article in user:Russelsamu/sandbox, add proper references to independent sources and raise the matter at deletion review. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:26, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- This sounds fair enough, are you able to please undelete the article for me so I can modify that in my own space rather than starting again from scratch?Russelsamu (talk) 01:03, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
Could you please undelete this article? We have received permission for it via OTRS. VernoWhitney (talk) 03:22, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- Done but where is the evidence of notability? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:07, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- That I couldn't tell you, all I know is we got permission (I've now added the OTRS tag to the talk page) which covers the reason for deletion. Thanks! VernoWhitney (talk) 11:37, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Reginald Gray
Hi Roger. It was myself who deleted the Commons page as I felt it was a twin of the annotated gallery, carrying all the same images. However I see Commons is back there and guess it was your good self who reverted to the previous. Knowing that you never liked the idea of my having too many images on the page (you are right as far as that is concerned) you may notice that the fewer images that remain are much smaller as I have reduced the pixels and as far as I am concerned the page looks reasonably clean. I also added seven subjects on the "External Links" as they contain pages of international websites that give me good space. I contacted Span who seems a very nice person so I would hope that he may be able to remove that deletion warning banner on the top of my page. Thanks for all the past help. Best ReginaldReginald gray (talk) 08:55, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Teddington Hockey Club
I am a relatively new contributor. I believe that you may have deleted an article which I contributed about Teddington Hockey Club. Is this the best place to discuss that? — William Fuchs —Preceding unsigned comment added by William Fuchs (talk • contribs) 09:39, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- It is claimed here that "the first club was created in 1849 at Blackheath". So your club has little claim to notability. I suggest you re-submit the article via the AfC process. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:07, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
EUROAVIA
You are listed in the deletion log to have deleted the English page of 'EUROAVIA-The European Association of Aerospace Students', on October 6th. We would like to ask you what the main reasons were for this deletion as well as whether you have the original text of this article. Several active members have spend precious time creating this article, and although there might have been a lack of citation (as noted in the log), we would like to reinstate the page with the possible improvements you would suggest.
I'm looking forward to your answer. Best regards —Preceding unsigned comment added by EUROAVIA10 (talk • contribs) 16:54, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- The reasons for deletion were given in the AfD discussion. The AfD discussion was unambiguous and recent but if, and only if, you can produce extra evidence of notability, then raise the matter at deletion reeview. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:11, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Ibrahim Dabdoub
Please I have created biography of one of the leading economist in the world Mr Ibrahim Dabdoub and you have deleted it – please help me restore it again. — Write2fadi (talk) 18:53, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
- More than one person thinks it is a copyright violation but I have to admit that Google does not seem to have seen the text before. I suggest: reduce the text to about a quarter of its present length, wikify it properly and, above all, add links to significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. Then submit your text to AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:24, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Deleted files
I am writing in regard to the files that were deleted:
It was claimed that I had copied these files from some websites but to the contrary the metadata might suggest you that it was created using powerpoint and MS paint. It was from Wikipedia that other sites had pinched. Cheers --Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 07:34, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
BTW: for your attention the link from where it has been claimed that I pinched the DMDK flag states a date on the link as 27th May 2009 whearas I had uploaded my images in 2007. I'm also assuming that you really did not believe that a high resolution PNG file came out of a very low resolution online jpeg.--Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 12:18, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Done. Why on earth did you not use the hangon tag and contact Hammersoft at the time the deletion was proposed? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:25, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hammersoft has taken a recent penchant on stalking through my contributions and nominating them for deletion. Strangely enough, I have never encountered this person earlier and hence why this person specifically targets me is beyond my understanding. FYI: I informed Hammersoft as soon as this nomination was made, but I had to leave soon after for the day since I was running out of time. As you yourself might acknowledge, it is pretty obvious that others pinched it from wikipedia (from the date of the upload itself). I pointed this out to Hammersoft here but the user kept the nomination open. When I got back the next day it was already deleted and hence I left a message on your talk page. Thanks anyways. Cheers --Wiki San Roze †αLҝ 07:12, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Could you please undelete this image? We just received usable permission for it via OTRS. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:55, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you! I've tagged it appropriately. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:59, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
Deletion review for Upon a Burning Body
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Upon a Burning Body. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. --ҚЯĀŽΨÇÉV13 01:42, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
You PRODded this, and I deleted it. Undeletion has been requested at WP:REFUND, so I have restored it and explained about notability; I am letting you know in case you want to take it to AfD. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 09:59, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Why?
Why did you delete Cristian Nicolae? Does he have a full name? - LuigiGamer64 (talk) 23:27, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Deleted because there was precious little assertion of notability and absolutely no evidence thereof. Cristian Nicolae seems to be his full name. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:35, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
You deleted, undeleted, and then immediately asked for deletion. I'm not sure what you intend. As for me, I agree with your original view that it is a good A10 speedy. DGG ( talk ) 18:55, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I have a firm belief that admins should not delete anything but vandalism off their own bat. So in a case like this, where no-one else had yet expressed an opinion, I tag rather than delete. Unfortunately, for an admin., Twinkle prefers to delete and I forgot to tick the "tag page only, don't delete" box. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:03, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
Oxygen Cocktail deletion
I noticed that you consider my article as pseudo-science. You mention that there are no evidence. I however have studied a lot of papers in Russian based on the clinical trials and can claim that the oxygen cocktail has been thoroughly researched. You can't deny the evidence just because it is written in Russian. I'm ready to edit the article and make it more encyclopedic-like. There have been numerous of researches and I don't understand why this article doesn't deserve being kept.--EnJoyce (talk) 10:46, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- Links to independent, reliable sources in English? But we will let the AfD run its course. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:23, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Wishaw and Racism
What are you doing?? You immediately deleted both my pages which I worked all afternoon on without permitting me to contest your deletions. The Entry on Wishaw, PA is my own personal information collected and used on my local history website. I stand to make not a single cent in promoting my educational website, which you did not even give me the option of deleting the link. My other entry on Italian American Racism & WWII Internment Camps clearly states at the very beginning that it was my own college research for my history education course. How can you make such a quick decision to delete a whole afternoon of work? This was all educationally based research and my own intellectual property to distribute. Plus you have no clear way for me to contact you to discuss this matter. (~~mennitti4~~) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mennitti4 (talk • contribs) 19:44, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
- The primary reason for deletion in both cases was copyright violation. If you had actually placed a notice on each of the source pages licensing them under the Creative Commons, then we would have had to find other reasons for deletion! I question your claim to have spent an whole afternoon. Both articles had been converted to wiki markup in a most slovenly manner, with whole paragraphs as <pre>, causing massive page widening. Furthermore, the racism article is likely to fail our original research rules.
- Of course there is a clear way to contact me – you have just used it – albeit rather sloppily.
- What I suggest you do is: a) on the two pages at wishaw.50megs.com add a Creative Commons licence and a statement that Wikipedia is allowed to use the text, b) cleanup both articles to get rid of page widening and improve the references, c) submit the articles via Articles for Creation. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:09, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Not only are you a pompous e-god, but you are equally arrogant. I will not be resubmitting anything as long as individuals as cocky as yourself are in control. (~~mennitti4~~)
I wasn't finished typing my explanation
I had an entry flagged because it was about WTF with Marc Maron Podcast, but it included a lengthy explanation of why it could be seen to be as a valid source of information. Though it is not a radio show it is being treated as such by many in the industry an contains first hand complete information. Here are some highlights of my explanation. (sorry about any grammar mistakes, but it is late and I am very sleepy)
1. Top ten download podcast in America - ~200,000 listeners per week 2. Host previously worked with the news outlet Air America 3. Has many exclusive interviews (often more than 1 hour long) 4. Often focus on the industry and life story rather than just jokes and movie marketing 5. Often referred to by the industry 6. He insider knowledge because he is a comic who has worked with many of his guest.
This is what I saved from my original explanation
WTF with Marc Maron is a podcast, but carries significant information about the comedy world. In its short existence it has collected interviews from many of the industries top comics. It doesn't focus on marketing of upcoming projects, but it focus on the genesis of the comedian career, they perspective of how the industry is run and a insider look of what it takes to become a respect comedian. I believe that this show is significant because it is the only show that focuses on the anthropology of American Stand up comedy. The number of in depth (typically 1hour long) interview of modern american comics is hard to find in more traditional format. As a result, not including this information will be robbing the public of a rich source of first hand information. In fact, I doubt that this show could be produce on traditional radio because has a niche focus on comedy that goes beyond the jokes and focus more about person behind them. I was only able to make an incomplete list of the comedians interviewed, so the list doesn't fully show all the important interviews. The 2 major ones that I can think of are the ones with Louis C.K. after his break through show, and Carlos Mencia about his alleged plagiarism. In addition, since Marc Maron is a comedian himself he is often able to pull more information out his guess due to his past relationship. His podcast is typically highly ranked for daily downloads. According to Itunes as of Oct 31 2009, the podcast was ranked 9th as the most downloaded podcast. The draws ~200,000 listeners despite its non traditional format. Therefore, has the potential of become a cultural phenomenon in addition to being a good source of information. Though his show can be silly at times (which would be expected with interviews involving comedians), the interviews are less guarded are produce more information since it is conducted by an industry insider. Finally, he has a previous experience hosting radio shows, so his podcast isn't an amateur venture.

- Evidence of notability goes in the article, not on its talk page and not my talk page! It always a good idea to develop articles in user:Freechicago/sandbox until you have added the references. I suggest you add the references and re-submit the article to AfC. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:15, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
