Hi, and welcome to my User Talk page! For new discussions, please add your comments at the very bottom and use a section heading (e.g., by using the "+" tab, or, depending on your settings, the "new section" tab at the top of this page). I will respond on this page unless specifically requested otherwise. I dislike talk-back templates and fragmented discussions. If I post on your page you may assume that I will watch it for a response. If you post here I will assume the same (and that you lost interest if you stop following the discussion).

List of important publications in computer science

[edit]

Heya, your deletion of of List of important publications in theoretical computer science was likely improper as it violated WP:CWW: see Wikipedia talk:Copying within Wikipedia#c-Felix_QW-20260818132800-Tamzin-20260628102200. Copyright usually can't overcome AfD. FaviFake (talk) 10:38, 23 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

You have done a speedy deletion of the item I spent days preparing and consulting with colleagues.

I submitted it as a draft so I could get feedback to fit with WP's rules, which I have now received, only to find out you deleted the item without trying to contact me.

Could you please reverse the deletion so I can edit the item. ALAR2000 (talk) 09:01, 31 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

  • ALAR2000, you were properly notified by the tagging editor, MidnightMayhem, on your talk page. The draft sure looked like having been generated by AI, which is not allowed on WP. I recommend that you start all over, this time without using AI. --Randykitty (talk) 09:22, 31 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
I did not use AI. I do not use it and do not have any software to use it. I believe it is the scourge of thinking as people stop using their brains.
What makes you think I am using AI? What content specifically looks like AI generated? ALAR2000 (talk) 12:20, 31 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
