Duplicate images uploaded

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:ChromeDreamsII.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:51PGyD7h+IL. SSa500 .jpg. The copy called Image:51PGyD7h+IL. SSa500 .jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 02:16, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Undoing, rollbacking or reverting should NEVER be done without explanation unless the edit you are undoing is vandalism. Accusing me of vandalism is not going to achieve much. And watch your reverting, remember the three revert rule. J Milburn (talk) 11:25, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 4chan. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. --Kip Kip 23:07, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at 4chan. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

"English sources only"

edit

Hi, responding to this edit summary; we actually allow sources in all languages; English sources are preferred, but having the best source is more important. That said, in this case the French one was mostly a translation of the English source already in use, so it doesn't really matter. More a general note. Please stop removing news sources if the URL does not work. Because a hard copy of the source exists, we can simply remove the URL. DigitalC (talk) 06:34, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
