Speedy deletion of North East of Scotland Music School
editA tag has been placed on North East of Scotland Music School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 19:32, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi. You suggest that Joseph Benjamin Williams composed "No Cards". Do you have any support for this, other than the fact that he was the publisher's son and composed Eyes and No Eyes? Sorry, but we need a published source to actually say so if we are to make that claim. Indeed, you cite to several bios about him, none of which suggest that he had anything to do with "No Cards", which would strongly imply that he had nothing to do with it. See this important policy: WP:V. Thanks! -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:03, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
American organ listed at Redirects for discussion
editAn editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect American organ. Since you had some involvement with the American organ redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion (if you have not already done so). Waldhorn (talk) 06:23, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The article Thomas Adams (organist) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:GNG and WP:NMUSIC. No significant coverage found and no indication that he composed any notable works.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Lennart97 (talk) 13:19, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
