Speedy deletion nomination of Vesco
editHello Roberthutch,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Vesco for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you.--VVikingTalkEdits 13:45, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

Article notability for Draft:Vesco β The story of the biggest securities fraud of modern times - the looting of IOS
editHey there,
I was perusing the submissions at WP:AFC today and came across the draft you submitted for the book Draft:Vesco β The story of the biggest securities fraud of modern times - the looting of IOS. As part of finding out whether the topic is worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia, we must evaluate how significant the coverage is in references. The book needs to have been discussed by at least two independent sources whose coverage of the book (and not of the Vesco fraud itself) is non-trivial. While the second reference includes substantial coverage of the book, the third reference only mentions the book trivially (it's a single sentence that, although praises the book, does not cover it substantially. It is probably using the book as reference material for the article, but that's more coverage of Robert Vesco than of the book per se) I have also been unable to locate the first source.
As reviewers for Articles for Creation, our goal is to make sure that potential concerns are addressed in these articles so that they don't get deleted when published. As such, I was wondering if you perhaps had other sources that cover the book, as well as more information on the book itself.
If you do find some, you can add them to the references in the draft, contact me at my talk page, or ask for help in the live help channel.

editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but it appears you have written or added to an article about yourself, at User:Roberthutch/sandbox. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged β see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you.
