Welcome!

edit

Hello, Rtrtpublicrelations, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!   Helped what was the conflict of interest?

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. {unblock-un|new username|reason=I picked this name thinking it was an okay name my posts weren't anything company related}}

(Non-administrator comment) Please pick another username other than "new username". To further clarify, do you know the subject you are writing about (Dynamik Dave) personally, or have a corporate relationship with them? Please also read WP:MUSICBIO as I doubt the musician meets our notability criteria. Darylgolden(talk) Ping when replying 08:13, 16 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

All your edits promote 'Dynamik Dave' so I find it unlikely that you have no connection. Please familiarise yourself with WP:PAID and WP:COI and let us know your connection, if any. Further, your draft article lacks reliable, independent sources (WP:RS) needed to establish notability by way of WP:BIO and separately fails to meet WP:MUSICBIO. To be unblocked we need to be convinced about your relationship with 'Dynamik Dave' and also convinced that you can write non-promotionally. Helpful advce is contained at WP:FIRST.   Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Dynamik Dave, from its old location at User:Stevenmsz/sandbox/Dynamik Dave. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KGirl (Wanna chat?) 12:00, 16 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Signing posts

edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Just Chilling (talk) 23:04, 16 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am trying to be a music journalist publisher from Miami as well, so my goal was to write article on big miami dj/producers from Miami (my city) not just Dynamik dave as I've done and know resources on all the miami artists hereStevenmsz (talk) 04:25, 17 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I have examined all of your editing, and it is perfectly clear that your purpose here is promotion. The project would not benefit from unblocking an editor here purely for promotion, especially one who denies that he or she is here for that reason. I also find some of the statements you have made since being blocked implausible, to say the least. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 15:01, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'm still not sure how a Wikipedia page promotes an artist, Rather then state accomplishments.

And I never said I didn't work around him. I do music journistish along side the company who works with these artist. If you actaully look at the artist on there are from Miami which I wanted to do articles on .

Could you answer the following questions clearly:
  1. Are you being paid to write an article about Dynamik Dave, or any other artists, either as a freelancer or as part of your job?
  2. Do you have any form of relationship, corporate or personal, with the company or artist?
If you do, please elaborate on how you know the person or company they are associated with, and read WP:PAID and WP:COI. If you don't, please state that clearly and explain why you wanted to create a page about Dynamik Dave. Thanks, Darylgolden(talk) Ping when replying 02:54, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, darylgolden I am not being paid . I do not know him personally. I am a big miami music follower, I do work along side the company that tries to promote good established miami artist, i took it upon my self to start an article on him and will lead on doing more miami music artist, if I'm able too. Inspiring music journalist that has nothing to do with my positions with the company, I am not paid and was not asked to do it.

Okay cool no worries
