serious apology
OK - time and distance, I come here hat in hand (perhaps for a second time). I have to admit that the guilt has bothered me, and know full well that I was wrong . I would like to offer an explanation, but I'm afraid it would sound like an excuse. I honestly am sorry for the way that I spoke to you. You have earned respect - and I didn't give it to you. I'm not asking for forgiveness, I am simply acknowledging my faults. I am sorry. — Ched : ? 03:46, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Attention whore
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Attention whore requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. — Music1201 talk 03:06, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

Admin The Wordsmith's comments re: "...the ineptness of many current Arbs..." is certainly casting aspersions
Given the seriousness of this Rfc at User talk:The Wordsmith/GMORFC the ongoing threats to sanction participating editors seem to ring hollow in light of supervising admin The Wordsmith's astonishing comments regarding ArbCom members. The comment, which by any definition "casts aspersions," raises a number of questions that call for immediate answers, given the self-created deadline for comments.
The questions, which I hereby put directly to The Wordsmith, are as follows:
- Exactly which ArbCom members are you referring to, when you describe them as "inept?"
- In what way are these current community-elected ArbCom members, as you term them, "inept?"
- Do you have diffs to support this sweeping claim, and can you produce them? If not, why not?
- Since the thrust of this extraordinary Rfc seems to be to prevent "casting aspersions," in the Talk pages of GMO articles (as well as precedent-establishing proposed "locked in" multiple article wording regarding GMO safety) is this not exactly what you are doing in the past 24 hours towards members of the Arbitration Committee? Does this not disqualify you immediately from further participation?
To all concerned: I will post the above subsection on the Talk pages of current ArbCom members, per The Wordsmith's declaration, despite substantial objections, that they will be locking down the page a few hours from this posting, making further timely discussion on this page impossible. Jusdafax 11:36, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
- You ought not cross post to so many pages. This looks very much like rapid, vigorous chamber-pot stirring. You ought to revert what you've done; be a little bit patient. Talk to the user you have a question about, or take it to ANI if the user won't engage in discussion or prevents you from posting to their talk page. Keep the discussion in one place. Spamming and canvassing are not the path to resolution. Jehochman Talk 13:06, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
- I disagree. As noted, the "one place" is being closed. Some strong threats were being dispensed at editors by admins who were supposed to be neutral moderators, and I felt that notifying the ArbCom members in question was appropriate. As someone wrongfully named as a party in the original ArbCom GMO case, I felt a responsibility to take bold action. The questions I ask, in my view, are extremely important, and I categorically reject my contact of ArbCom members on their talk page as "spam." Jusdafax 13:29, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

Requesting undeletion of Larry Y. Wilson article
Hello. Hope you are feeling better. I am writing to you today because you were the editor that closed the deletion discussion on the Larry Y. Wilson article. The contention was made that the Deseret News was a biased source. The decision has since come down that the Deseret News is a reliable source. Additionally, the contention for deleting the Larry Y. Wilson article was in part that there was not sufficient coverage of his life in non-LDS sources. Recently, Wilson was appointed by the Church as the Executive Director of the Temple Department, a position carrying responsibility for the oversight of temple-related activities throughout the world. But this appointment was not announced through the Deseret News. It was first made manifest in a Philly newspaper article discussing the opening of the Philadelphia temple. Click here to look at that article. I am contending that this mention is significant enough to warrant an undeletion of the Larry Y. Wilson article. I would welcome your feedback on this. Thanks. --Jgstokes (talk) 02:08, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
- If you are referring to this discussion to assert that there is a consensus Deseret is a reliable source, I have to say I disagree. In my opinion, that's a clear case of lack of consensus. And the other article you link to is not really an article about Wilson. Please, take the issue to WP:DRV. Salvio Let's talk about it! 11:11, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
