Citing Sources

edit

Hey I've noticed a repeated behavior by you, and it really needs to stop. The way you cite your sources it not appropriate. There is a proper way to format a citation, and it involves more than just the URL. The format goes as follows:

< reference tag >(bracket)(bracket)cite web|url |title |authors last name |authors first name |work |date and |accessdate (bracket)(bracket) </end reference tag >

Although it is a lot of extra time and effort, it is needed to correctly cite here on Wikipedia. You've done this numerous times, especially on The Blacklist pages. Responsible editors know how to cite a source, and do so correctly. If you continue to keep doing this, I will revert them and do it correctly. It is NOT a race to see who can get the information in Wikipedia the fastest. Speed doesn't matter, quality and accuracy matter. Please fix this behavior, otherwise I will be forced to report you. @Sanan ameen: Report to Wikipedia administrators, not police. Cite correctly or don't edit at all. Rswallis10 (talk) 20:03, 25 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
