Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Spinster. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have already been undone once on this. Per WP:BRD it is up to you to discuss it on the talk page. It is certainly not a minor edit to continue to change the header so as not to use the term we are using inthe title of the article. Meters (talk) 17:09, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I apologize- I just saw you prefer to keep a thread in one place. Here is my response: Hi Meters- this is the person who has been editing spinsters. I added a comment to the talk page- I hope my reasoning kind of makes sense! I don't mean to be disruptive and apologize if my writing came off as irrational. I would be happy to discuss why I consider the term spinster to describe those women as being slightly offensive from an American English standpoint wherever it is appropriate to do so. Thanks for watching over wikipedia! I hope to help contribute constructively as much as I can as well.
