Thank you for contributing to this article, however I would like to remind you that Wikipedia is not an image gallery for pets and all contributions must have clear encyclopedic function not already filled in an article. VanTucky 18:53, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

POTC3 advice

edit

One tip is not to write too much about the action sequences: it's an old Hollywood joke for many screenwriters to merely say "they fight", and really, we should simply talk of end results. For example, it'd be a complete mess for the second film's summary to tell of how Norrington has the key, Will gets the key, Norrington, Jack, etc, which is why it just says Norrington takes the heart although Jack is unaware, and the Flying Dutchman crew take the chest, unaware it is empty. Keep to that aesthetic. Alientraveller 11:07, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

No, I've not seen the film yet, maybe this weekend. Alientraveller 11:21, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Survey

edit

Hi Shermoo!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! The Editor's Barnstar

edit
  The Editor's Barnstar
Over fifteen years ago, I read the plot summary for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and was deeply appreciative of whoever had created it. There were breaking details, such as James Norrington being the commander of the Flying Dutchman that stuck with me ever since. Though you have not edited Wikipedia in thirteen years, please accept this belated token of appreciation. Your work did not go unnoticed. BOTTO (TC) 20:58, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
