Nike Article Peer Review - Dscsd21

edit

The Nike, Inc. Wikipedia article does an exceptional job of laying out the company's history and operational effects. More specifically, the article's "Environmental record" section stands out as a major positive article outlier, displaying Nike's different positive and negative environmental effects. As for critique, I think that the sections under the "Controversies" section accounted for a larger portion of the total article length than necessary. I also feel that the sections themselves lack content (many were no more than two sentences long) regarding the controversial issues. Additions to the content of this section could benefit the article's lack of current detail in the "Controversies" section. I also feel that less time should be spent discussing Nike's financial information in the introduction, as there is a "Finance" section that causes repetition of the intro. This article is similar to the one I am adding to (Amtrak) in that the history section is the first section after the introduction, and is the longest individual section in the piece. Overall, this article is relatively well written, and therefore a good resource for accurate information. Dscsd21 (talk) 20:20, 14 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
