File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Beula.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Beula.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 23:21, 27 February 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fred the Oyster (talk) 23:21, 27 February 2010 (UTC)

image uploads
editFirstly, could you please sign future posts on talk pages with four tildes, like this ~~~~? It makes it easier for others to tell who said what when. I'm not sure who made the decision, but your confirmed user status has been removed because you have uploaded numerous files without proper licensing information. You could just as easily have been blocked. Your contention that you took all these photos yourself is difficult to believe, since many of them are obviously PR shots used for advertising and such. Wikipedia takes copyright violations seriously, and repeat offenders are blocked or even banned from editing at all. If you really are the copyright owner of these images, follow the procedures outlined at this page. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:29, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
- Glad to help, but I'll second all that was said above too. If you need help, please contact me on my talk page. — BQZip01 — talk 23:14, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Mainplaque.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Mainplaque.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:12, 9 March 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 10:12, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
- Although the objects in the image aren't copyrighted, you've not released any rights to the image itself. Would you please consider releasing the image under a free license to ensure that it can be used? And if you're the creator, would you please say so on the image description? Nyttend (talk) 21:42, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
- To claim that you're the author, all you need to do is add a statement of "Photograph taken by uploader" to the image description. Unless we find solid evidence to the contrary, we assume that you're telling the truth when you say this, so your image won't be able to be deleted because of the lack of an author. For a list of possible free licenses, go to Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Free licenses; when you find a license you want to use, copy/paste the text before the dash onto the image description page (for example, if you want to use the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License, copy/paste
{{cc-by-3.0}}
onto the image description page. Adding text such as this to an image is your official statement that you release the image under that license. Are you willing to let anyone use the image for any purpose without crediting you as the author? If so, use{{PD-self}}
; this will release the image into the public domain. Would you like to require that anyone reusing it credit you as the author? If so, use{{cc-by-3.0}}
. Would you like to require both that you get credited and that a reuser release a modified version under the same license? If so, use{{cc-by-sa-3.0}}
. I'd advise that you use cc-by-3.0, since you still retain ownership of the image but you're making it easy for others to reuse it. Using PD-self means that you give up ownership, so be careful that you really don't want any rights over the image; you'll have no more rights over the image than you do over one that I take. Using cc-by-sa-3.0 may make it less useful, since some people might want to modify the image but not to let others modify it. Finally — does all this make sense? If not, let me know and I'll try to say it in a simpler fashion. Nyttend (talk) 00:08, 12 March 2010 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Who Knows Jak, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.nubianjak.com/game_show.aspx.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of Nubian Jak Community Trust
editA tag has been placed on Nubian Jak Community Trust requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. As has been stated before. The "references" you are using are unreliable or have absolutely nothing to do about the content it sources. For example, you wrote he made a plaque for New Cross Fire. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-12216776), except the ref never mentions Beula. Same goes for Bob Marley (http://www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/rasta-in-peace-heritage-plaque-for-bob-marley-7260008.html), except the ref never mentions Beula made the plaque, just he attended the ceremony.
You edits have been reverted before. Follow the rules. Bgwhite (talk) 23:30, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
