Why did you delete my page?
I disagree with your AFD closure
I carefully review all AFDs before I close them and refrain from closing where I feel I am not able to close neutrally or correctly. I also add a closure comment where I feel there is any potential ambiguity or where I feel that an explanation is required, so if I haven't added one I will not add one later. If you have an issue with an AFD I have closed, please list at Wikipedia:Deletion review; I waive all requirements to discuss the closure with me first.
Can you help me do something?
Probably, but you're probably better asking at a noticeboard like Wikipedia:Help desk or Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard, because if I'm offline or busy, you'll get a quicker response that way.
Can you help me with an OTRS ticket?
No. I am no longer an OTRS handler.
Will you unprotect (some page)?
Please request unprotection at WP:RFPU. There, it will be seen by the next admin to look, as opposed to waiting for me to get online (if I'm not already), see your request, and deal with it. I expressly authorize any admin to reverse any protection decision I make if they consider it appropriate to do so.
Will you intervene in my dispute?
No. I have had enough bad experiences with doing this in the past to put me off doing so. Please use dispute resolution.
Don't template the regulars
I do not subscribe to, agree with, or abide by WP:DTTR. I'm aware it exists, and don't need to be told about it.
Will you unblock a user?
If you are blocked, please place {{unblock|reason why you should be unblocked}} on your talkpage.
If you are requesting I unblock some other user whom I blocked, click here to leave a message.
I will not, barring a very good reason, unblock some other user whom some other admin blocked. That request is best placed at WP:ANI.
Will you undelete (some page)?
If it was deleted by proposed deletion, then yes. You are probably quicker listing at WP:UND, but if you want, you can leave a message.
If someone else deleted it, then no. Please ask the user who deleted it, and if this does not prove successful, go to Deletion review.
If I deleted it, then possibly. See User talk:Stifle/FAQs/undelete.
What is wrong with my image?
I do a lot of work with images. Sometimes this means that I leave you a message indicating there is some problem with an image you uploaded. Please read the message and the notice on the image page, as they explain what the issue is. If, having read them, you're not clear on what's wrong, please click here to leave a message. To save time, please make sure to quote the exact image name.
You closed a multiple-part AFD but didn't delete all the pages!
This generally arises because of the deletion script I use. Rather than leaving me a message, instead please tag the page(s) as follows:
- {{db-xfd|votepage=YYYY}}
- Replace YYYY with the name of the AFD page after the /.
- For example, if the page was Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/1001 Internet Jokes, you would use {{db-xfd|votepage=1001 Internet Jokes}}.
