The April 30, 1940 US tornado

edit

Hey! So I saw on the List of F4 and EF4 tornadoes you added a F4 tornado in Illinois from April 30, 1940. The National Weather Service actually did not officially rate tornadoes until 1950, meaning that F4 rating is an unofficial rating. I went ahead and copy/pasted the tornado in the Possible F4/EF4 tornadoes with no official rating or lower rating section lower down in the article. The section in the article for official F4 tornadoes prior to 1950 will not have any tornadoes from the United States, except the 1946 US-Canada tornado, which only received an F4 rating from ECCC (Canada) and was unrated in the United States.
